No problem. I think it sounds like a cool story even if it's fairly standard. That can be good in a way, sort of bring people back to the SNES days.

This thread makes me want to whip out RPG Maker again myself. I had a pretty epic SNES style RPG in the works myself about 6-7 years ago but lost it all to a hard drive failure.

Let us know when you get a playable build of the game!

Campari - increase the kerning on the title. With a prefigured font, each letter starts to overlap the letters following when the number is too low. It just looks sloppy. Otherwise, cool.

I actually kerned it down because I wanted it to slightly overlap like that but that's a quick fix if you guys think it will look better the other way.

Here's a version with the kerning not overlapping like that:

That's pretty nice, reminds me of an old rpg menu load screen for sure.
