+20 Internets | XNA revenue pricing released. For those interested in selling your games on XNA, I noticed they put up their payment plan. XNA Creators Club Online - introducing xbox live community games Basically breaks down to you can sell your game anywhere from 200 to 800 MS points, and you get 70% of the profits. If you game does really well, they take a bit more out, but give you ad space and promote your game for you! This really is a dream come true for hobby dev's. |

| I think Braid is a different tier of XBLA game than XNA Creator's Club. Not full-on commercial dev, but not just a hobbyist either. That's where the 35% deal comes in where they handle things like the localization and dealing with those worthless fucks over at the ESRB. It's too bad he wasn't more specific about exactly what he had a problem with doing in order to meet Microsoft QA requirements.

Only if your game does amazingly well does MS start taking more, but they start marketing your game too, so its really a win-win no matter what happens.

+75 Internets | There's a difference between the XNA Creator's Club and XBLA. XBLA games have to go through a lot of certification/localization processes, which the Braid dev talks about. With Creator Club, there's essentially 0 standards. |
