| Registered User | Robo Rally for... PC/DS/PSP/??? Robo Rally - A Frenzied Race of Computer Driven Chaos ![]() My friends and I were playing last night and thought how easy (with the tools and know-how) it would be to port this game to the digital world. The rules are all concrete. There are no "what if?" situations, as everything has rank and order. Games would be shorter and arguably more fun if one could spend more time playing and less time setting up or making moves. I do not know how interested if at all anyone may be in attempting to accomplish this task, but I am willing to dedicate time to the evolution of this idea. One guy has already begun on this project, but there is no mention of if or when progress will continue. French site of someone's attempt. I'm toying with these versions now to see how complete and well-thought they are/are not. EDIT The French version seems to be the most polished, but I can't read any of it. It still needs a lot of work, but all the code seems to be in place. I'm a wonderful idea man, but I know nothing of coding/programming. If anyone wants to work on this, feel free, and shoot me a PM.

+3 Internets | never heard of it, but I would caution to be weary of copying someone else's IP. As long as you're willing to walk away from it if it becomes popular enough to attract the owners attention, more often then not its probably just better to come up with something yourself that you can own, even if it borrows heavily from other games. |

| Registered User | I fully understand and heed your warning. I don't intend to pass their product off as my own. I just thought it might be easier to play virtually, and a fun project with which to toy. Hell, if anyone is afraid of IP theft, then we can call it AndroidAnarchy! and design our own boards using a similar ruleset. =X
