Available resources

Seems like quite a few people have projects up and running which is great to see. Going to list the resources that uberguilds can make available to help people with their projects. I'll add to the list as we add more, and feel free to sugguest any.

IRC - irc.uberguilds.com - Feel free to make a channel on the uberguilds server, ir just idle in channel #uberworlds

Wiki - Main Page - UberWorlds Development Wiki - Probably going to keep everything in the one wiki, but people should be able to have pages for their projects. May need to come up with some sort of naming convention so that projects can be grouped together and kept seperate from other projects.

We also have things like svn, dotpoject and ftp, but just need to get the ok to use them and / or work out how to admin them properly.

Whats a good free IRC client? I haven't been on IRC in like 8 years, and used mIRC then, but now it looks like they want money after a trial period. Looks like XChat is the same way.

Also, I can add a page for my RPG project to the Wiki, but I don't really know how to go about doing that.

I use pidgen... that way I can use the same program for MSN / Yahoo / IRC / etc

mIRC Scripts Dot Com - Old mIRC Versions

You can find client versions all the way back to '95.
