+13 Internets | [Torque MMOkit] latest version Downloads - MMOWorkshop - Trac I just downloaded the latest version, Torque MMO Kit V0.4 (aka V1.0-RC1), and played around with it and I must say it's pretty good. Haven't had a chance to do any creating or developing yet, though can't imagine its much different then what I already know except for the inclusion of a gui script editor thingy I read something about. Reading the docs though and running around the included demo world, I could quickly see that its far more user friendly and should be way easier to get into. The demo world is full of practical example of stuff you'll be wanting to add into your own game, so should be easy to see the code behind them and adjust for your own purposes. When I get some free time I'll actually do some dev work and see how it all pans out. |

| Since I'm not completely familiar with this, can you make it so there are no classes, but just a pure skill system similar to UO?

+13 Internets | Probably, but couldn't say difinitively just yet. I'll browse the mmokit forums and see if its been answered before. The engine supports skills though, and player chosen stats, so it shouldn't be impossible to work out a purely skill based system. |
