My RPG game

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong here. I wear goggles and fuzzy hats whenever I draw Millie. I thought for sure after the anal sex one she'd swoon. I haven't even gotten a restraining order yet. She's probably just playing hard to get, because my methods are perfect.

I'm interested in Lala's game no matter when it comes out, I have a soft spot for old school jrpg style fun as well as a hearty love for inside jokes. Helps that it looks f'n amazing thus far as well.

XNA Creators Club Online - role-playing game

just noticed that, compiles and runs, gives you a basic template for an oldschool turn based RPG. Good reference to standard RPG mechanics under the hood.

course, the game crashes constantly and i cant keep it running.

But maybe someone else might have more luck.

I almost have the entire design doc's/concept stuff finished. I was hoping it wouldn't get bumped till they were done. Oh well. The goal of those is to lay out the entire game, then I can recruit some people off the rpg maker boards or whatever and delegate things out so it doesn't depend entirely upon me. The company I work for is currently in a very massive shithole and has left me with almost zero freetime, and potentially might lead to me being unemployed soon. Naturally, I've been even slower than normal because of it. At least the Duke Nukem Forever team gets paid. =P

Here are some random non-project doodles and things for now. Even threw some top secret banner stuff in.


Logo I never posted since the thread was dead by the time I could get to it.


Quick repaint over the classic mainly while I was on hold with some dude from India representing Microsoft. I had to get a Vista key released cause my motherboard died on me and I had to get a new one... second time I've had to do that but this last one was a really painful experience.


Rework of the Movie House Banner. I think technically the winking should be reversed to match the sig, but I finally figured out a decent method to drawing stuff that size cleanly.


Retard Rickshaw Banner, I can't get the typography how I want it though.


General Banner. I need to add the Donkey, and finish the background.


Random leftovers from the RPG. I've actually devised an entire fake 2d sidescrolling game based entirely on these leftovers. Its just a completely illogical type game like the old 8-bit games I grew up on typically were (although at the time a flying raccoon made perfect sense). I don't plan on really making it. Khorum, Cuppycake, and Lumie (weird bird skull shaman looking fella) are on there. Some of the others are Cinnamon Bird/Cinnamilk you collect those for + health/internets. Dirty Sanchez is the turd with the Mexican hat. He's a common foe on Wolfen's Penthouse stage. Firefox you have to get to wake the Fires of Heaven to fight Lumie when he tries to summon Jesus with a Slim Jim but accidently summons the giant Spaghetti Monster who touches Millitary Millie with his spindly noodle... yeah you get the idea. Oddly it's become more fun thinking up stuff about than the RPG since making sense isn't a requirement.


Speedpaint based off a photo I believe I got from here but can't remember. I did a couple of these but they're entirely for practice, just occasionally one comes out ok enough to be shown.


Very rough sketch of a poster I want to do of Mytoss and actually get printed at some point. I need to rework a lot of it, but eventually the goal is to have it on my wall so that people will ask about it and I will have to explain who Mytoss is and how he fights demons of the underworld with a straight face.


I didn't draw this one. Some chick posted this on another forum I read a couple months back. Original is just a ballpoint drawing on a piece of notebook paper, I liked it and I colored it. I don't know her name or I'd give proper credit. It's her sig on it I just can't read it. Original is here

Second the banner suggestion those are stellar. The Retard Rickshaw Banner is so much more awesome that it is going over a cliff at full speed. Little things like that is what makes a great artist.

You need to be getting paid for your talent if your not already.

Well, I was thinking about just making an account on Deviant Art posting it and then being a loser and ordering one for myself haha. Then if anyone wanted one they could just order it there, and most importantly, it wouldn't require me to do anything. =P

I got some calendar ideas too, since I noticed they do those. I want to do a Mayan Calendar for 2012 about the worlds end. Retro Pin-Up girls too, because I have some weird obsession for retro stuff. Ah if only I had the time.
