+3 Internets | If you've logged into the test server lately you may have noticed silversage has gotten some new content. I'd like to ask the community to please focus test silversage content and quests for us. We've implemented a lot of core changes to give us the functionality required to implement these quests and I'd like to finalize this work before we move on. Silversage will also be a good develeopment example for the rest of the content we will be implementing. Please use this thread to post any issues. Your quests begin as soon as you login with The Master Sarg who wanders around in front of you. Do not pay attention to reward balance, as this will be revisited when content is finished. This is the reference page: http://wiki.uberworlds.com/index.php/Quests:_Silversage THanks! |

+3 Internets | NPCs with orange text mean they have a dialog, hwoever you may not have the requirements to see it. For example, the stableboy has a dialog which is part of a quest the master sarg will give you. But you can't access that dialog on an interaction (dbl click in range) unless you are on that quest. How you got empty dialog boxes is something i'd like to know more about, were you using the /interact command directly? And on which npcs and durign which quest. |

| It happened both using interact and double clicking. Char was a lvl1 warr, several npc's had the empty dialog box, one near the spot where you appear after creating the char, another at the gates of the warrior hut (guild?). |

+1 Internets | Just leveled a druid to 2 and did most of the silversage quests 1) I had to farm the house rats for 30+ mins to get my lvl 2 heal spell to make it where I could efficiently kill the field rats for the farmer jonah quests... more money from quests or less money cost on spells? 2) Exp from killing mobs seems abyssmal compared to questing, even more so than WoW/EQ2, intentional? 3) Rat tail drop rate is taking forever, but I don't know how fast I'm killing compared to other people. Otherwise great work! |

- The killable mobs in Silversage are a lot easier than normal mobs. The zone was designed to have a lower rate of experience due to the ease of mob farming (no assisting from neighbor rats). It was not designed to be a money or experience grinding location. The Silver Plataeu is a better location for that, but we are still developing the zone and I can certainly see removing the reduced xp gain restriction for now. - Experience as a whole is just now getting balanced. Now that we are starting to solidify our spells for each level we can begin to look at the experience required and balance that out among %quests and %mobs. This should be updated soon and the fix is basically just assigning the correct experience rewards to the quests available for your level. We will be working on experience and economy very soon as we begin to itemize. - Rat tail drops should be 1 in 3. It is this way because the rat tail quest is repeatable forever. If this seems low, perhaps a 1 in 2 is more appropriate. Thanks for the feedback it will definitely make changes. | |

+1 Internets | It being repeatable makes sense. Making spells cheaper should be addressed to make leveling casters easier for testing content imo... Combat felt very good, the only major thing I noticed was an invisible cooldown on spells after being interrupted and some oddness relating to swinging while casting ... not sure how to describe it but depending on where the mob was and when i turned on autoattack (during casting, right before casting), sometimes I would hit the mob at the same time as casting and sometime it would wait for a while. |
