| [WIP]Orc Texture Just looking for any input; the first one is a bit more half/EQ orc looking, while the second one is a bit more traditional. This is for the orcs near the silver mines, I believe; is there any place I can go to get a more in-depth description of them, besides them being orcs? (ie culture/habits/intelligence/etc.) Not sure who's head to pick for this. The faces are a bit flat/cartoony right now, but I'll be shading them better once I pick a more concrete face... and the bodies are just some practice. +1 Internets | I like the 2nd as well, the first looks like those green/purple aliens from XCOM. I'd enlarge the arms a little bit to match the extremely muscled torso. They seem a little out of proportion, the biceps more than the forearms. |

| your shading is really stringy... so much so that it makes it really distracting. Either go to a soft airbrush type brush or turn up your minimum diameter in the shape dynamics on your hard brushes (assuming you're using photoshop) I also think you should revisit the musculature of his abdomen, find some reference for it and revisit it. The arms look fairly accurate, but the six pack screams ninja turtles drawn by a 12 year old. |

| While I agree that it's "stringy" atm, I don't like using soft airbrushes too much as they tend to make everything look too smooth, almost blurred. I spent barely any time with the torso, so it's definitely not final; the "shading" is very incomplete". That said, I'm not looking for photorealism here. |
