| Textures Thread I need to continue working. To do so I need the following texture changed to a different color. So to any of the photoshop pros looking to lend their skill but haven't had anything to do. This one's for you guys. I will also probably keep this thread alive from time to time when I need some textures made for the time being. First this texture is a deep gray. I need filtered with photoshop or however you guys do it so that its burgundy in color. Also I would like it in blue as well. A deeper blue would be nice. Something say around navyish in color. ![]() |

| yes please. Need less braveheart red&blue. Burgundy is like almost a blood red/brown if I'm thinking correct and a less bright blue.. Navy.. needs to be deep. Don't mean to be picky but those would just clash with the current stuff. |

| Hathe, the two grey ones look really good. The blue one; not so much. It looks too much like you just put a blue overlay on it or something. The only other issue I can see, is that because you've added a bit of stuff on top of the texture it 1) may be too noticeable when repeated (that red stone, in particular will be a dead give away) and 2) may not even tile correctly if the edges don't match up. |

+1 Internets | Yeah, the ones labeled "BRIGHT" and "DARK" do look great, but they could be very easily overdone. But that's up to the mappers, not me. The blue one looks like ass, but it's hard for me to tell until I take it out of the chop window and compare it to other colors and see it in use so I know how to adjust it for the better. The other 2 I had actual examples of so I had an easier time tweaking them. |

+4 Internets | Someone make a god damn mine floor texture i can't see shit when i am running around in THE SILVER MINE. I'm tired of experiencing the zoning screen when I fall to my death because the floor looks like the wall!!!~ |

| Here's a redo of that dark texture that Hathe did, let me know how it looks. Added a colorized red one, not sure if it will have the look you need, I'm still fiddling with it. *Edit* Added a modified version of the dark grey one. I messed with some of the blocks to minimize the perception of repeating tiles, there still is a slight vision of it, but not nearly as bad as before. i.e. less tile looking Last edited by Vatoreus : 05-02-2007 at 04:31 AM. |

| Floor I wasn't sure what type of floor you wanted so I did soil and rock. I'm a hack at photoshop, but here at some more contributions: edit: I'm learning some new stuff and trying to get better. Here is an updated version of the previous 2

| AHH! thanks for the responces. I'll be using some of these for sure. One main thing to note is that when doing floor textures or wall textures. Make sure they are repeating. So the left and right sides along with the top and bottom can sit next to the same texture without any signs of texture repeating. Besides that good work. Edit: Additionally for the current set of ones. Make sure their in .jpg format. Last edited by forge : 05-02-2007 at 05:54 AM. |
