| Der Krautland So, going to Germany Dec 9th-ish thru the 16th-ish, dates not entirely finalized yet, but it will include Dec 12th for Rammstein in Stuttgart. We will also be staying 7 days, probably mid week to mid week, leaving after I get off of work on Wednesday morning. The big question that we're having issues planning for, is how to spend our time. We're going to have 6 days in Germany, obviously at least Saturday will be spent in Stuttgart, but from there, we're at a complete loss for what to do, where to go, and how long to plan on spending places. Should we plan on spending a whole week in Stuttgart? Is there enough to do there to keep us busy? Take a night train over to Munich on Sunday morning, fly home out of there? Is there enough in each location to keep us busy for 3 days? Should we toss in another city and spend 2 days in each? Having never been abroad, I've got virtually no ideas how to plan this out to stay busy and have stuff to do, but at the same time, I don't want to come back going "aww, man, I really wish I had another day to spend in XXXXXX." So, how long do you guys normally spend in specific cities? Is a day or 2 plenty to see and do everything, or do you need/want more than that? If that's plenty of time in a city, where else in the region would be a must-hit place since we're there? |

| I'm not sure where Stuttgart is but if you're going anywhere near Heidelberg or Trier you should check those out for a day trip. Both are great tourist cities with lots of castles and old roman shit. Also, when you're leaving Germany prepare to be crotch checked by a dude before getting on a plane. It's quite disturbing when you're not expecting it but once you're through the section you can stand back and watch the female guards feeling up the female travelers. Quite hot.
