Its not a real nerf, even as Protoss I welcome the change. Immortals were simply building too fast.

What I do not like about these patches is that they completely ignore the core problems of the game. Maurader need a real change, prolly something that reduces their HP. Roach are still a game design failure. Forcefield is still stupid strong. Dark Shrine is yet another design failure. And the list goes on.

If SC2 is released like this, I am 100% sure that I will not take part in the unmodified multiplayer experience. Blizzard always had a weird attitude when it comes to balancing. When Mass Caster were imba in WC3.. what did they do? Buff the core problem - auto cast, because the expansion did fix the issue after another so and so many months.

Some one in guild is claiming that single player game is only one race and that there are "episodes/expansions" that allow you to play the other races.

Is there anything real about this? I am not interested in paying either $50x4 or $60+$20+$20 for the ability to play all three races.

I was being facetious, everyone complains that roach/hydra is the only thing you can do (other than mutalisks.)

Ok the only thing that could be found was for something from last July:

Starcraft 2 has announced that the game will be released with 2 expansion packs planned and they are calling it a Trilogy. The first will be Terrans: Wings of Liberty, the second is Zerg: Heart of the Swarm and the final one is to be Protoss: Legacy of the Void.

First release is 1 campaign for 1 race.
Second and third release are the other 2 campaigns.

All 3 campaigns are intended to be long enough on their own to justify a full game price, but yes, you will only get 1 single player race campaign at first, and will pay $150 or whatever for all 3.

In other words:
1) You don't (supposedly) get any less content for your $$$, but you could possibly get less varied content for your $$$.
2) If you intend to play multiplayer seriously, you probably have to shell out $150 in box costs over the lifetime of the game. SC and WC had you shell out $100 for the same (main game + expansion).

Which is also one of the major complaints about zerg in general. Zerg really hurt for creativity. It seems everytime I try something new it fails badly and I just start massing roaches afterwards.

I believe theres a few missions where you play as the other races.

There were some rumors about toss mini campaign in WoL, but I don't know if there is some truth about it. Anyway, people didn't have problems dropping money for DoW2, so I can't understand their justification now.

Well, finished patching but now just looping, suppose that will get fixed at some point but can't play until it is.

I would comment on the editor if I knew anything about editing but I don't. I'd imagine it'll pop up very soon for download for anyone that isn't in the beta to play with (no login/connection required for it).
