+47 Internets | The Bengal's line isn't in horrible shape even without Smith. Absolutely, Smith makes the line better though. They gutted most of it, so on the whole they're much more athletic and talented guys...but with little experience. The line was fairly terrible at times last year, but the Bengals had zero offense. A lot of that wasn't the line, it was just shitty players. Of course some of that was the line too. But, questions on Smith's character have to play out still, I think. He put in a lot of effort for rookie camp and mini camp. Half of the first round isn't signed still. So, singling out one guy seems a little ridiculous. I mean, I guess you'd think Monroe would've been a better pick...and guess who is also holding out. I can actually understand the Bengal's position this time. They are between a rock (QB signing) and a hard place (Al Davis signing), which has inflated Smith's value. |

| Go Dawgs! | I don't understand how people can have the Seahawks ranked so low. There's really no reason they can't contend for a wild-card spot, assuming they don't get fucked in the ass by the injury gods like last year. Oh well, staying under the radar is fine. I just hope we can find a decent running back. |

| We bawlin boi! | Interested to watch how the human beer truck aka Owen Schmitt does for you guys in Seattle starting at fullback this year, we all loved him to death in college and he opened a ton of holes for Slaton and Pat White. Going from division III all the way up the hard way to the NFL is an awesome story, hope the kid works out and has a long career.

I hope the guy from 4th and Long makes it over Isiah Stanback (who is hurt again, is this his 3rd year now?), they have been saying good things about him. And as much as Roy Williams sucked last year, he did have planar fasciitis, so I can cut him some slack because that shit hurts just walking around normally. For opposing teams, I'd be very worried about Jason Witten and Martellus Bennett on the field at the same time, Marty B showed some flashes of brilliance last year and some of the catches he made with 1-2 guys on him he was uncover able. That guy is huge. Cowboys season comes down to 2 things: 1) Starting offensive line staying healthy, right now there is no depth and it caused alot of problems last year. 2) Jason Garrett figuring out how to utilize 3 amazing running backs and 2 threat TEs. | Brilliant! | I'm gonna add Consistent Special Teams play to your short list. I know the problems last year extended beyond any one thing, but the past two years on Special Teams have been absolutely brutal. I think Joe D is the spark they need to stop making stupid mistakes on these units. Oh, and extend "healthy offensive line" to a "healthy team". The injury bug cannot come back like it did last year. |

| Plax shot himself, not Pierce. Pierce was with him and took him to the hospital. What could of been damaging for Pierce was him carrying the gun back to the wife. He was never charged with anything though. |
