| I'm down in San Antonio right now at Cowboys training camp. Went to their kickoff event thing. Holy shit, that's gotta be the most concentrated collection of Mexicans since Santa Anna stormed the Alamo. I've been to two practices, got some autographs. A lot of things to note, but the biggest thing I noticed was how much Kitna is an upgrade over Brad Johnson. McGee looked half-decent too, actually. |

| Oh fuck. Dash, Tash and Bash? Get the fuck out of here. That's fucking terrible. It's almost as bad as the Giants chanting "G-Fence" and the playoff game. That was so lame. Thats why we lost too, probably. |

It's just fat ass, I'll help you hide a gun, Antonio Pierce couldn't find Westbrook all day. And the Giants kept taking out Jacobs in the first half for some dumb reason. And it was windy as fuck. | |

| We bawlin boi! | The teams he might be able to go and start on are in general bad teams, and adding his sins to most of those teams is probably not the best thing for him or them. As far as football goes? It makes absolute perfect sense, and as much as I dislike Bellichick, he's still a good coach and a student of the game--in fact he's spent a ton of time with people like Urban Meyer at UF studying the spread offense/wildcat in the offseason given how Miami torched their asses with it. It's been no surprise to me that they would look into something like this, New England was very interested in Pat White from the draft (flew him up there to workout), which is probably why Miami took him so early in round 2. Plus, adding Vick to an already explosive offense gives it not only a new dimension for people to prepare for, but given how Brady was hurt last year, it gives him a break along with a guy who is used to playing as a starting QB in the NFL. Just adding 5-10 wildcat type plays a game makes the opposing defense spend a ton of time on something a) that is hard to defend with the right personnel and b) most NFL players haven't seen since college (and some not even in college). I forget the saying, but it's something akin to "every wrinkle play you can put in makes the defense spend 30 minutes preparing to stop it". I wouldn't want to be the guy having to prepare my defense to stop Brady--Moss an then a giant ass curveball and completely new offense when Vick is in the game. I'm going to be interested to see how this season plays out with how many teams are adapting some form of the wildcat/spread offense. This just seems to be (with the Manny/Ortiz roid thing) the absolute worst time to bring in Vick to NE as far as Boston sports fans are probably concerned. Edit: By the way, that rumor was floating around over on NFL.com yesterday as well, with Bellichick talking about Vick as being a great weapon or something. Could just be his typical smokescreen but given all the other evidence of what hes been doing in the offseason it makes a lot of sense to me.

| We bawlin boi! | Well Hightower played pretty well for you guys, it doesnt sound serious at all. Just be glad you have him, its crazy nowadays for any NFL team to not have at least 2 or even 3 capable running backs.
