Now you are just talking crazy, romo may be a loser in the playoffs but campbell is a loser in everything. I hate romo but campbell has been serviceable at best.

Campbell also carries this demeanor around during the games and in the huddle/sidelines of "i just don't give a fuck". He's always got the same pouty/semi-pissed off looking face and I don't know if I've ever even seen him talking to a player this year. He has zero pocket awareness, so yeah, I'll take Romo

Titans are 0-6 but they seem to be the talk of the town here...

MNF this week is going to be insane watching the Saints in the dome against the Falcons.

Miami had 2 weeks to plan an attack against the Saints and practice it. I don't know what everyone else is going to do other than hope Brees, Colston, Sharper, Shockey, Bell etc all get knocked out.

I really like watching Sharper float around as a free safety. That guy is just having a great year...

I'm all for a moratorium on Titans talk for a while, it's fucking depressing.

I like and will root for the Saints, but they can't keep getting a return for a score every week, and I figure one of the teams with a pass rush will get them in the end.

Oh yeah, and go Bengals.

I don't know how it would turn out, but I would love to see the Saints offense vs our defense.

Wow. I'm unhappy with what he said (though only hear second hand) but fired on one offense? Ouch.

I'd take Rex Grossman over Campbell, now that's saying something.

I don't recall the specifics but he has been a douche ever since he supplanted Holmes. He's always bitching about money, coaching, etc.

He never supplanted Holmes. Holmes was injured once, came back, took back his starting spot, then got really hurt again, and tried to make a come back a year and half later, but by that time, he was never going to be a starting running back again due to the nature of his injury.

LJ has been a douche. He was very talented, but just had a horrible horrible attidude. He likes to beat up chicks.

Quotes from a previous link in this thread.

Well-regarded former New England Patriots personnel guru Scott Pioli is in his first season as Kansas City's general manager. As such, he's still in the yellow-tape stage of cleaning up the mess left by previous honcho Carl Peterson, who hired Herm Edwards and traded Pro Bowler Jared Allen to give running back Larry Johnson (2.7 yards per carry, 0 touchdowns this season) a five-year, $43.2 million contract extension in 2007, money not-so-well spent.

Chiefs Have lost 32 of their past 39 games -- and as previously mentioned, one of their infrequent wins came against the Redskins. Kansas City's offense ranks 30th in yards gained; the club's defense is 29th in yards allowed. On the plus side, the Chiefs won an offseason grievance that enabled them to avoid paying Johnson his previously guaranteed 2009 base salary -- at least the club's lawyers are puttin' points on the board!

They've already fucked with his contract that was stupidly given to him by a moron GM that was fired, they gave him some rope and he hung himself.

He could end up with more than just a fine being a multiple time offender of the personal conduct policy. The Chiefs won an arbitration case this offseason because of his previous personal conduct policy violation that got him suspended conduct. That un-guaranteed his salary, which is likely why he's been a good soldier this year up until now.

I can tell you how it would end. 10 points in the first three quarters, then a 34 point 4th quarter.

He was suspended for one game by the commish last season for a player conduct violation.

Larry Johnson's transformation from enigmatic malcontent - 09.04.06 - SI Vault

Quote:
SARAH McQUEARY winced when her glass patio door slid shut. Her husband, Ryan, had gone out to the backyard to grill some filets, and there she was, alone in her spacious living room with a sullen young football player slumped on her sofa. It had seemed like a good idea to the McQuearys--inviting their new neighbor, Larry Johnson, the Chiefs' rookie running back, to dinner on a September evening in 2003--but he had barely spoken a word since arriving. Now he sat stone-faced and silent.

Sarah asked how he liked Kansas City.

"Fine."

She asked how he was doing with the Chiefs.

"O.K."

Did he have a girlfriend?

"No."

Sarah's anxiety increased with every failed stab at conversation, and her discomfort didn't ease when Ryan rejoined them. The attempt to connect with Johnson so unnerved the outgoing couple that Ryan and Sarah, who normally enjoy a glass of wine apiece with dinner, put away nearly two bottles of cabernet. As the evening wound to an awkward close and Johnson prepared to leave, all the McQuearys could muster was an invitation that their door was always open if he needed anything.

Two weeks later they returned home from a shopping trip and heard a strange thumping in their basement. The noise grew louder as they hustled downstairs. When they glanced around a corner, there was their neighbor, Larry Johnson, jogging on their treadmill. He casually waved at Sarah and Ryan as though they were longtime pals.
Weird guy. Also, 4th in the league in carries and hasn't had a 100+ yard game yet this season. He's 29 and done being a starter, imo. Good to set the tone by letting him go and not tolerating that kind of stuff with the new regime. KC is going to likely have a high pick so they can replace him with a good RB that isn't that stupid.

edit: you guys post fast when I'm tired...clearly it's time dilation. :O
