+39 Internets | Vidic sent off in our last three games against them. He simply can't handle the ball over the top and neither he nor Ferdinand can handle Torres. Torres has now scored 34 goals in 35 games at Anfield. |

+4 Internets | Figured this was the best place to post it. Just picked up my first big game "football" tickets today, and I am fucking stoked! Nov 14th England vs Brazil here in Doha Qatar. Managed to get seats only 16 rows back, but cost a damn fortune. Should be a blast!

Hopefully we'll bring you all back down to earth tomorrow though. Should be a high scoring affair like the last few have been.

| Anybody watch The Careless Cup game - Arsenal vs. Liverpool - this week? I only saw the result, which pleased me, of course, but wonder how the game went. North London derby in an hour. Can hardly wait! Also so glad I don't have to find some shady ways to watch the damn thing. Thank you, ESPN. Edited because I've gotta post mid game... that second goal just left me smiling. Don't care if the kids even throw this away and concede a draw. (Knock on wood and all that shit, coz I've seen us do that kind of shit too many times...) The Fabregas goal and 'arry's sullen expression caught on camera after it are satisfying enough for me. Last edited by Haruhi; 10-31-2009 at 07:38 AM.. |

| So i think fulham killed off LP's hope of repeating the 4loos title chase (dempsey just made it 3-1 85th min and lp have 2 players off with reds what happened there?) CFC have another good game against Bolton (who produced a few counter scares but this doesnt look to turn into another 4-3 game all a sudden) as for careless cup yeah i watch CFC take a stroll over Bolton thats it, thoughts on Blackburn @ ManU? blowout or stingy draw or narrow win (im going either stingy draw or narrow win) |

Edit: Oh and yea I watched the League Cup game. We played really well up till the last 15 minutes when they just couldn't string together more than 4 passes. Prolly just nerves when closing games which they inherited from the first team.

It's like Benitez decided to sub Torres to save him for the CL game to prove a point that his squad is paper thin. He doesn't have to do that. I think most people got the message when Liverpool started losing matches they would have easily won last season. I guess this was his way of saying "Save us, big oil rich sugar daddy!" and I just don't like that kind of bitch looking for a pimp attitude. Mind you, I am not saying that the current owners are great and that he should be happy with them. I am just not pleased with seeing clubs and their fans wanting to become the next Money City. It reeks of laziness and wanting an easy way out in my book. Good luck with today's CL math to Liverpool of course. I always love it when English teams march on in the Champions League because that pisses off Platini. Speaking of CL, managed to half watch Chelsea v Atletico and ManU V CSKA Moscow and those were pretty fun games. Who knew group stages could produce non snore fest matches?

And yeah its pretty evident a squad is thin when your bench has academy players and every 4th article out has the list of players injured for your team. Someone had said it was rafa trying to do well in europe to get a job elsewhere but honestly if you cant beat "lesser" teams in the EPL how are you going to beat most clubs in the CL (there are exceptions such as anytime celtic is away....)
