I think it was his first fight with Mickey Ward... that was the best boxing match I have ever seen. If they could all be like that, MMA wouldn't be taking over the fight business. Hopefully ESPN replays it in some sort of tribute soon.

Former boxing champion Vernon Forrest was killed yesterday night after 2 suspects attempted to steal his Jaguar. Allegedly Forrest had a pistol of his own, and attempted to confront the two men during the attempted carjacking, but was gunned down, suffering at least 8 gunshot wounds, including one to the head.

Third high profile boxer dead this summer.... shit is crazy.
