Wait till he gets traded and his supporting cast dosent line up for piggy back rides.

i would be a little burned too if i played 6 great games like that, scoring like what 50-60% of the cavs points? his team didnt show up. i think he was just disgusted, shit i would be.

I honestly think half of you guys have never played organized sports.
When you're in an ultra competitive situation like that, sometimes emotions get the better of you. If I had just played my heart out, and lost because my team basically let me the fuck down for the entire ECF.. I wouldnt shake hands with noone.

Seriously. People that claim LeBron makes his team worse are fucking idiots. Basically everyone I know, and every analyst on ESPN, FSN, ABC, NBC, Lifetime disagree with you.. LeBron is the best player of the generation( He's not the next Michael yet.. But then again he doesnt have a "Pippen" or a "Rodman"(GRanted Varejao is pretty close to Rodman).

Once he gets a better cast ( Sorry Mo and Delonte. You motherfuckers choked), the Cavaliers will be the next spurs/pistons. Noone in NBA history has won a title single handedly. Kobe had Shaq... Dwayne Wade had Shaq.. Kobe has Gasol/Odom/Bynum(All starters if they were on different teams). Howard has Lewis/Alston/Pietrus(Biggest surprise of the playoffs?). LeBron was trying to win single handedly because everyone else choked..

Also, lets not forget, he's never had a problem with this before. Fuck he shook the hands of the Spurs when they got swept, and lost, in Cleveland. He just was frustrated with the fact they are the best team in basketball, yet they lost because people decided they forgot how to shoot a jumpshot. Cut him a fucking break. You'd want to punch your dog in the face just as much as he did.

This is still being discussed? First off, I do not even like Lebron or the NBA much for that matter, but this matter is pretty simply really. There are a whole bunch of Lebron haters out there. They have no good reason to hate the guy other than plain jealousy (and maybe the fact that you have to see his face in every 3rd commercial). Sportsmanship? Fuck yo couch bitches.

Don't give me the "he's a athlete making millions this is what he signed up for" bullshit. Performance dictates salaries. That has nothing to do with heart, desire, and the stop at nothing attitude to achieve your goals that so many people lack. I would be more pissed if Lebron got up infront of everyone with a smile and said, "there is always next year". He played like his mother fucking life was on the line... I want that kind of guy on my team.

The only and I mean ONLY leg the haters have to stand on is the fact that the NBA is a business. It is bad business for your stars not to be available after the game to have darts thrown at them by the incredibly stupid douche-bag "reporters". So if you are pissed that he didn't slap hands with DuhWIGHT after the game, fuck off you cock slurping faggots.

Except the point isn't to win games, it's to sell tickets. Does Lebron's attitude mean more or less tickets?

What's there to be jealous of Kobe will be getting a ring this year while James is fishing. I have a legit reason to hate him no matter what team he's on it'll be a boring series if he's involved.

He ruins games (the fans enjoyment at least) by holding onto the ball for 20 seconds every possession in the 4th quarter and then he proceeds to consistently get the worst bailout phantom calls in the league. To his credit he's not a flopper like Dwayne Wade it's just that any forced call involving him will always be in his favor. He's a manufactured super star with an over inflated ego.

Did you seriously just call the guy that puts up Oscar Robertson like numbers " manufactured super star with an over inflated ego."..

Yeah, sure. Except, he's not that great of a free throw shooter, yet has the second best Effieciency rating behind Jordan(by less than half a point mind you). This guy is totally putting up 8 assists per games because ref's can give him that. He's totally getting 8.5 Rebounds a games because the refs are giving him calls!.

Seriously, shut the fuck up and stop being a fucking idiot until you know what you're talking about

You can thank Mike Brown for that.

Say what you want about him, but boring? Come the fuck on, he's one of the most exciting players to watch in any sport, at any time.

I love the guys trying to defend their own poor sportsmanship alongside Lebron's. Stay classy internets.

Poor lebron's problem is the same one Kobe had a few years ago. Trying to trade any of the crap on your team or trade a superstar is nearly impossible. He's just too fucking good. Kobe needs to send a game ball to Memphis' GM before he congratulates himself, because there is no way he wins this year (coming from a laker fan..) if Memphis doesn't give away Gasol AND take kwame. Same thing with KG for Al Jefferson, although obviously Big Al has some game.

If the Cavs can manage a miracle like that, Lebron can get himself a championship in Cleveland. Otherwise.. expect a lot of frustration. Which will never be an excuse for poor sportsmanship, no matter what level you play at.

And yeah, some of the Cav blowouts were boring =P

It's too much effort to argue over a perennial loser so I'll just sum up what I think. He averaged 14.2 FTA's per game/2.1 PF per game/a super high amount of FGA's with 41.5 minutes played per game in this years playoffs. It's not too hard to connect the dots his entire game is driving and slashing to the hoop.... you can see from his stats that every call goes in his favor where normally someone that plays like him would be in constant foul trouble. And his stats are padded because he plays positions 1-4 when the game is on the line since his team is garbage.

You can't brag about a guys monster numbers when he's on a bad team ex: see Kobe Bryant from 05'-07'. If Kobe or Wade were as greedy as Lebron and wanted to pad their stats with easy rebounds they could average similar stats while negatively impacting their team.

But.. The Cavaliers are not a bad team.. In fact. They were the best team this year. You don't get 66 wins because of one guy.. Period.

Throughout the entire year, everyone stepped it up when needed. Mo and Delonte were god sends this year. It wasnt until the Finals that the choked.. But LeBron took it in his hands from the begining.

LeBron and Kobe have the same problem as Jordan did.. When it comes down to having to win, they want the ball in their hands. In Jordan and Kobe's case, this works because their teamates step up while Kobe/LeBron are "Doin work". However, LeBron's didnt. He tried to be too selfless. He was giving the ball away way too much during the ECF.

So really, the fact that he isnt a ballhog, was their biggest downfall. Whodathunkit

Edit:

Oh, lets not also forget, he put up close to the same numbers during the entire season.. Where he was benched 8/10 times during the entire 4th quarter.. Dwayne Wade's gaudy numbers are from being a ballhog( With good reason, he's pretty fucking good). LeBron's are because he is the best player this or the next generation will ever know.

28/7/7 (with 14 free throw attempts per game) "Where ref's make amazing happen" I never said that he's not talented he's just not very skilled he relies on athleticism like Dwight if he didn't get the superstar treatment he would be in constant foul trouble.
And yeah I'm conflicted their 66 win season seems like a fluke when you look at their 2nd best player and centers. But all of the sports writers and espn analysts were quick to throw the team under the bus and say that the team was terrible and Lebron received no help after they lost in the ECF's. I tend to agree with them that the team sucks and Lebron choked.

I give this post a 5/5

I think claiming that he is unskilled or just ridiculous. Since he came into the league, he has improved by a whole helluva lot. When he first came in, he had a terrible midrange jumper, now he can knock them down pretty consistently.
He couldnt shoot the 3.. Now he's pretty dangerous from behind the arc.. He wasnt a great defender at first, now he's 2nd behind Dwight in DPoTY?

Also note, he is still 24. It took Jordan 6(?) seasons to finally win a title? LeBron's time is next year. This year looked very promising, but matchup problems with the magic, and then his team choking ruined it. This off season they will pick up Amare or Chris Bosh, or both ( And play Amare at center). They'll also get another true PG ( Danny Ferry has already stated the luxury tax is not going to get in their way ).

Do you honestly believe, that with another 20+ PPG Shooter, or a 10APG PG, or another 10RPG player that anyone can beat them? I dont
