Get used to it imo. I haven't been this unexcited about the start of a season in a while.

Yeah I just wish the Fish could play you guys every game.

Also - someone should teach Lastings how to cover ground in CF, Bonerface almost had another inside the park homer thanks to his bad routes.

Not so much a comeback, but a complete and utter implosion of Atlanta's bullpen--the likes of which haven't been seen in a while. Four bases loaded walks? That takes talent. Moylan and Boyer currently have an ERA of infinity after today.

My boy Bills is about to take the mound in S.D. I high hopes for him Kershaw and McDonald this year. Well, not so much McDonald as he's still fairly young as well, then again so is Kershaw.

Whoa:

FULLERTON, Calif. - A hospital official says Los Angeles Angels rookie pitcher Nick Adenhart has died in a hit-and-run car crash after a game.

University of California, Irvine Medical Center spokesman John Murray says Adenhart died Thursday morning after undergoing surgery.

Officials said the 22-year-old Adenhart was one of three people killed in the crash early Thursday, hours after he started in a loss to the Oakland Athletics.

Great, it's as if our injured Lackey, Escobar and Santana weren't bad enough along with Bryan I-have-no-fastball Fuentes.

(It gotta suck hard for Adenhart and his family. A few hours ago, they probably were celebrating his excellent debut, and now this happens...)

This is such a sad story. Drunk driver ran a red, and of course the drunk driver is alright, he gets out of his vehicle and tries to run away. Luckily the cops found him.

Giants are 2-1...and they actually gave Matt Cain run support!

Their pitching staff is great, and if their bats keep up this kind of production...look out Dodgers!

That line drive off Joe Martinez was fucking scary. A shot like that straight off a guy's head could kill him, its good to see that he seems in not too bad shape after it.

2-1 is nice, coulda been 3-0 if not for that freak homer by Gallardo off Johnson. But yeah, if the Giants could keep up offensive production near what they've gotten so far they'd win the division. Unfortunately, probably not gonna happen. I'm hoping they'll get enough to stay competitive and make it close though.
