Actually a playoff would likely make more money. However it would seem the issue is that the money would be going to different parties, hence my point on special interests. A playoff would bring in a truckload of money, but the schools are very covetous of their current situation and are loathe to change.

Why is Terry Bowden getting so much love for having the #1 team in DII? Jesus, I hear a LOT of fans on different message boards talking him up now. My god, he has facilities there nicer than a lot of D1 schools and has something like 21 D1 transfers from WVU, Clemson, Florida State etc playing against DII talent.

Sorry, I call shenanigans on him being the next big thing from DII.

Also, Dez Bryants final appeal has been denied. Yep, fuck the NCAA.

And, just for shits because it got me thinking......

Replace the name Dez Bryant with the name Tim Tebow. Does anyone here (who is not a UF fan) think the NCAA suspends Tebow for the entire season for doing the exact same thing?
