Jesus, no way I would want Braylon Edwards on my team, he drops way too many balls in big game situations.

Damn. Travis Henry looking at minimum 10 years - life in prison. How the fuck you go from a starting NFL running back, to that...I just can't comprehend.
Ex-Denver Broncos RB Travis Henry to plead guilty to one cocaine charge - ESPN

On that note, holy shit NFC East primetime games!

5 for the Cowgirls
5 for the Giants
3 for the Skins
4 for the Iggles

That's just ridiculous. For comparison, I believe there are three divisions that will have 11 total as the next highest.

Watch Chris Cooley's New Reality Show | Mr. Irrelevant

Chris Cooley is fucking awesome. Even if I weren't a Skins fan I think I'd be a Cooley fan. And his wife is so ridiculously smoking hot... (obligatory pic included)

I still don't know why the Eagles wouldn't give a #1 and change for him. You KNOW you're going to get at the worst a quality wide receiver. At best you get a guy who plays with a little attitude and goes for 1500 yards and 15 TDs. No late first rounder has that kind of guarantee.

That said, I'm not an NFL GM who's built a successful team that's made the playoffs 7 of 9 years running. It's hard to argue with a philosophy that has them drafting from the inside out, and avoiding spending big money on offensive skill position free agents.

He's also incredibly physical, you can't say that about any other Eagles WR. Even though Chicago doesn't have much to work with, if they could somehow package anything to get him it would be insane.

Really, any team will be better off having Boldin. He's an absolutely amazing player, it's just that Fitz is better. They're probably the two most talented receivers in the NFL.

That said, I hope he doesn't end up in the NFC East, unless the Skins somehow manage to clear some cap room for him.

Football legend John Madden to retire - CNN.com

While we all mad fun of his commentary, he is still 10x better then most out there. Any predictions who will replace him?

Edit: bah too slow!

We can only hope that Dennis Miller makes his triumphant return.

That would be the best comeback since Lasse Viren won gold in the 10,000 meter in Munich in 1972!

Well played sir, well played.

I still love the Simpsons thing about the Dennis Miller ratio, where only 1 in a million will ever get the joke.

Edit: Also, I heard an interesting tidbit I didnt even realize......USC has the most top picks predicted to go on day 1......the #2 school close behind them? UConn....I bet Edsel starts reeling in recruits like mad up there if hes showing he can put them in the draft so high. Anyways, I'd love to see Pittsburgh nab about any of the UConn players, Brown for depth at rb, Beatty for OL, and especially Butler at CB.

Apparently Cris Collinsworth is replacing Madden. I support this, Collinsworth is pretty awesome.

God save us if Edsel can start pulling in recruits. The guy can coach and what he's done with the talent he's had at Uconn is just as impressive as what Kelly has done at UC. Uconn's new facilities are awesome too, unlike Cincy's.

I'm very high on brown as an RB. The Bearcats handled McCoy, but there just wasn't an answer for Brown.
