| I think David Stern wants to see a rematch of last years Finals. He will snap his fingers and make it happen. Just wait and see.

| There is a recent tradition of injury-ridden teams just waiting to turn it on in the playoffs, only to discover that it just doesn't work out that way. The Lakers towards the tail-end of the the Kobe/Shaq partnership, the Heat after they won their title, and even the Spurs and Pistons of a few years ago to some extent -- all got beat up during the regular season, came into the playoffs gasping, tried to bring the needed intensity, and just couldn't muster it sufficiently to get the job done through four playoff series. I sincerely believe this will be the fate of Boston. If they are able to buck the trend and win a championship, I will eat my internet hat. |

+2 Internets | Boston Celtics' Kevin Garnett could miss NBA playoffs with injury - NBA - SI.com Maybe they're just trying to psyche people out and Garnett will be there, but without Garnett I'm not sure the Celtics can beat the Magic or the Cavs. |

| nah man, i think it has to be a bluff. Uber Uberest said that he could have easily played the last 4 games of the regular season, and unlike paid professionals, he TALKS to people in boston man. kg is fine and will carry the celtics on his back with a malone-like 4 4 4, you'll see |

| Tyrus Thomas, the sharpshooter. You knew Rose could go off for a game like that, but I've never seen Thomas play so well as a pro. Big shots in OT and down the stretch in regulation. Yeah, that would have been a much talked about blown call with 3 sec left in OT when Pierce simply went up and lost the ball. It was a monumentally stupid foul though by Noah though at the end of regulation. You simply don't give yourself a chance to commit a foul when Pierce is shooting a fadeaway 15 footer with time running down. That should have cost the Bulls the game... very surprising to see Pierce miss such a big free throw. You had an idea it just might be the Bulls day when he did miss it. |

+58 Internets | Barry is also one of the worst color commentators ever. Guy completely forgets what's happening in the game. Starts talking about how the Salmons miscall could've given the Bulls the win, but the next play (after they fixed it) Rose makes 2 FTs and the outcome is the same, sigh. Plus Rondo basically had to mug Rose on that play to finally get a whistle and big baby was getting blocks called for fouls pretty much the entire second half. Was really frustrating to see the game swinging so much based off whistles |

| Being from Cleveland I can't stand all the Lebron is god shit, but I dont see any team in the East knocking them out. They took a deep Celtics team to the wire last year, and they've only improved. I think finals will be Lakers Cavs and the winner is decided by Lebron or Kobe. Whoever turns it on and takes it to the next level will win. I mean Lebron has been playing 38 minutes all year and has been nasty, I'm sure he'll play a lot more if needed in the playoffs. Still hoping for the Cavs to pull it off though, cus this shitty city a break or something... |

| Cavs are my pick to win it all this year. It's going to be really hard for someone to beat them in Cleveland and the 2-3-2 format normally favors the home team. If I recall correctly, the home team has won 18 of the last 24 series.

+58 Internets | The problem with the 2-3-2 format is if the home team drops one of those first two the advantage for the other team is so much more than it ever was for the team with home court. Having 3 in a row at home, pretty big deal |
