Start him? Good bye "QB of the future", word is Rogers probably won't resign if they put him back in the number 2 spot again.

Keep him and Bench him? $13mil is a lot to pay for a bench warmer, plus I doubt packer fans, no matter how they feel now, will like seeing that.

Trade him? Brett controls where he gets tradded to, not the Pack. Not many teams can take on a $13mil salary, so if Brett is unwilling to renegotiate, a trade won't get done.

Release him? He may very well end up in your division, where any of the three other teams could easily go to top contender for the North with Farve at the QB spot.

Favre says all the right things.
Packers start 2-4.
Favre takes over after 3 weeks of fan and media pressure.
Favre leads them to a 9-7 wild card.
Packers lose in the first round of the playoffs.
Still no one is happy.

Vikings signed Bernard Berrian from the Bears, that guy had gigantic big play ability with Grossman throwing him the ball, I think he'll do fine stretching the field for Peterson with Jackson, to say nothing of Farve, would make that team damned scary.
