| Russia didn't have the same speed today as in the other games, but could also be that Spain read them like an open book so they didn't stand a chance... Too bad really, because I would love to see the Russian team playing like they did versus Netherlands, but Spain deserves, without any doubts, the final spot. Very good game by Spain, who once again show why the Spanish league is my favorite football league. Interesting final now between Spain and Germany, with two (while very different) attacking teams. That hasn't happened in a long while now (WC 2006 between boring defensive Italy and even more boring France, 2004 EC a defensive Greece vs Portugal). Have to give props to the referees this tournament as well. They haven't ruined a single game nor have they let the players ruin it by acting either. Awesome! Overall a great Euro Cup where the attacking teams have pulled the longest straws finally, which is nice for us supporters since we get to see many goals and great attacking football. |

+13 Internets | Nice win by Spain! Can they finally go all the way? Think the mental side of things is going to be the deciding factor. Will Germany be drained from the close match against Turkey or will it give them the self belief that they can win in the end no matter what happens? Will Spain be confident after a comfortable win in the end or will it make them complacent? |

| BUBBLES THE MONKEY!!! | http://wwwp.mirror.waffleimages.com/...2d73f0de1f.jpg It's not that I couldn't attach. It just wasn't adding properly. I could actually see it on my screen. Then it said it couldn't link it. Fucking image. Either way. It's hilarious. It's the culmination of the SAS thread on footy turning into talk about cock related names and funny headlines. Good times. |

+10 Internets | In an odd twist of fate, Spain probably won because Villa injured himself. Fabregas is just too good. Against Germany the equation is simple: Spain will win if Fabregas plays more than 30 min. If Aragones decides to once again have him warm the bench for no apparent reason, they will lose.
