First game Turkey really deserved to win, but as they say you don't earn goals, you score them.

We totally dominated both halves but merely playing well doesn't win you games; scoring does..

Anyway, I am really proud of our boys for this game. I had never seen Germany so desperate.

Mad props to the team and Fatih Terim. Good things could re-happen at WC 2010 if we keep up the good work.

I swear, I am more proud of our boys than when we won against the Croats. We completely dominated the game throughout. Even with 9 players missing, we "owned" the Germans. I think this was the first time the World saw that you could actually defend by attacking.

Honestly, dont overestimate other teams or underestimate the Germans.

They played pretty bad today, and they should have dominated the game, but didnt, quite the opposite.
Right now, whenever the opposing team was playing shitty, the German team also played shiitty...
So we can only hope for an offensive game from eitehr russia or spain in the finals.

very close game, turkey put up a fight, but seriously, claiming that they totally owned germany sounds a little exaggerated

it was a game where both teams made the most of their few scoring chances. eventually germany was a little more efficient.

they sure aren't very popular in germany. which is mostly due to their big national pride and cultural differences, often ending up in fights. they get easily offended, too.

I ve been in Turkey in holidays before and i have to say, it was great meeting people there - they all been very friendly and while talking to them, they all said the same : they are ashamed of the turkish people who live in germany cause of their fucked up behaviour.
