I would assume he meant Portugal.

He must have missed the Czech republic then

BTW Ronaldinho is no longer a diving swan, he played in the premier league too long for that, did you see the CL final?

Group A looks beastly. Those matchups are going to be incredible to watch.

Group A is truly wide open. Group C is beastly, but it's most likely going to end up as Italy/France. I think Turkey could do well and definitely could win the group. Not sure about the Czechs. They're missing Rosicky who's their captain and I just don't feel them. They have Cech who may be the best goalkeeper in the world, but I could definitely see them finishing 3rd.

I'd be very suprised if France makes its out of the group stage. They've been absoultley horrible lately, too many of their good players are way past their prime. Don't underestimate Romania either, I'm guessing it's gonna be them and either Netherlands or Italy that makes it through.

Well, it's hard to pick up one, but if i realy had to, i would say france.

Zidane is gone, but the new generation kick ass too and i cant wait to see "karim benzema" in this euro cup.

Ok a bit further look at things.

A: Portugal, Czech, Turkey, Switzerland
B: Germany, Poland, Croatia, Austria
C: Italy, France, Netherlands, Romania
D: Sweden, Spain, Russia, Greece

Winning team: Portugal
Top Scorer: C. Ronaldo - 6
Total goals (all games): 61
Total yellows: 68
Total reds: 4

2nd: Germany

Usually I'm an advocate for Italy, NL, Czech, France but I think all 5 have deminished a bit, it would also be boring to say Italy would win after the World cup imo.

Thing with Portugal, well. They do have a few divers (gogo Deco) and that's not including Ronaldo, who imo has developed his skill in knowing how to claim free kicks without injuries, inviting contact but making sure they never get the ball. He just whines too much when it doesn't work still. It's a bit of a gamble to say they are going to win ahead of Italy/Germany this season but that's what i'd put money on this time.

I haven't been following French football. Is Henry still apart of the squad?
