[CFB] 08-09 Season Extravaganza kicking off the upcoming season with spring practices. osu is loaded, but will pryor live up to the hype? will rrod turn michigan into a powerhouse.. or an outhouse? florida is improved on d, but tebow looked shaky during spring. will usc be the greatest team of all time that loses to stanford again? can stewart maintain wvu's success, or will they fall into mediocrity? who will rule the big12? the season starts now!

2008 Yay! I can't wait for the season to begin, i'm seriously dying from college football withdraw. Ohio State is seriously loaded for the fall, hopefully we can avoid any more injuries. I think Pryor will live up to the hype but not immediately. We will prob seem him get a few plays here and there, and he will most likely share mop up time with Henton and Bauserman. Hopefully the O-line can stay healthy throughout the summer, they are pretty banged up right now. Spring Game is tomorrow (even though the Bigten network isn't showing it until later that night, and they wouldn't let local stations broadcast it live, ps i hate you Big10 network.) Florida does look pretty good. Offense looks great but the defense is still suspect. I think Tebow looked shaky last Saturday because he had the flu iirc. Although its possible he looked shaky because he was doing surgery's all night. As for how the season plays itself out. I think Ohio State def. gets back to the title game. If they don't get back with this talent it will be a huge disappointment. Unfortunately, Ohio State was one year to early going to the championship last year. Although, it wasn't their fault everyone else lost they were really young. IIRC LSU had something like 22 seniors on the team last year and OSU had like maybe 3 or 4. Senior leadership killed us in that game. As soon as we started losing the momentum being up 10-0, we didn't really have any senior leaders to keep the younger guys calm, and stop making stupid mistakes and penalites Anyways, If i had to predict now (which is way to early) I would say this;NC Game: OSU vs Oklahoma/USC rematch The Sec Champ could get into this game as well but I don't see any of the teams coming out with less than 1 loss. After the OSU game, USC's road is pretty easy. Oklahoma shouldn't have much trouble outside of Texas. Although Stoops does always find a way to lose a game.

Michigan will have a rebuilding year...RR has 2-3 years to make things happen. After that, well...The AA mafia will start their attacks. I remain hopeful and am willing to give him the time he needs to build a quality, modern, and successful program...I also live to drink in Genjiro's suffering while he does that.

Please don't try to convince us that the Little 10 champion is somehow deserving of another national title appearance. Don't get me wrong, OSU did nothing wrong to convince us they shouldn't have been in those games. They're just outclassed. Let's avoid having to call osu the bills of college football. Unfortunately they'll be in the talk thanks to the mere size of their alumni and influence. Sigh. I'd love to see USC vs Big12 champ vs the SEC Champ this year, something along those lines. ACC is relatively weak, although I think Miami makes a big move back to relevance. Big East has WVU still, but nothing else, as usual. Pac10 is still just USC, and they'll undoubtedly lose to someone bad like UCLA or Stanford to remove them from the running. Good luck to anyone trying to defend us this year. Harvin, Rainey, Tebow, and Moody if he learns to hold onto the ball =). If our D is just one 4th-down-stop improved we're in the title game this year. If we're going it'll be decided on Nov 1 in Jax. #1 vs #2 UF vs UGA, game of the season?

| My pre-preseason prediction is USC vs. a SEC/Big 12 team. I'd love to say my LSU Tigers could be there, they are loaded at every position except the one that counts. Ryan "Thug" Perilloux is pretty much single-handedly costing us any chance we have.

2008 How is Ohio State Undeserving. You act like 2 games define the entire program. Ya in 2007, we came into the flordia game completley unprepared and under conditioned. The team literally felt like they just had to show up and they would win. As a result we got our asses handed to us. Last year, like i said we were young, every other team lost, and LSU was just more experienced. But to say that we are undeserving is bull shit. Although the score was close, Florida got their asses handed to them by Michigan! if Hart wouldn't have fumbled on the 1 yard line twice Michigan would have put up 60 on your amazing SEC defense. Does that loss define your program? Should you not be allowed to go to the Capital One bowl next year? Want another example? how about when Florida got owned by Nebraska in the 1996 Nat Championship game. Heres a reminder about what happened that day. YouTube - 1996 Fiesta Bowl Huskers vs Florida final score? 62-24! By using your logic maybe its Florida who shouldn't be allowed to go to any more bowl games. People say OSU is undeserving but hell they are 1-2 in national championship games in 7 years. have 3 other BCS wins, and another Alamo Bowl win. How many bowls has Oklahoma won this decade? Arent they on a 6 game bowl losing streak? Sorry but the OSU is undeserving crap is bull shit. Ohio State is one of THE top 3 programs in College Football, right now, not even based on past history. Ohio State, USC, and LSU. Florida just recently became relevant again, sorry.

Here we go. Another year of OSU claiming they are god's gift to College football only to be embarrased. Its not that they are 1-2 in bowl games. They have lost both times, (back to back), in such an humiliating and ridiculous way so anything even resembling a "no guys, we are actually good this year" is meet with apathy. If you would have lost putting up a fight, then the nation will give you credit. But you didnt... TWICE... So please shut the fuck up until your team delivers.

usc has beaten nobody that deserves any praise. florida got beat by the same team that osu destroyed. lsu was the best team last year because they had the most seniors. osu performed the best throughout the year. they deserved to go, but weren't good enough to win. we were there last year. we were there the year before (even tho busy egg laying), and we'll probably be there again this year because we gots the most seniors this time. and guess what? we might be there next year too. we're always at the top. no one has faced the competition we have in the past two years. if you lose a game or three in the regular season, you get your bowl ticket to ezmode and can claim a victory. we haven't had that luxury since notre dame. i'll take the 1-2. always at the top.
