osu In the last 3 years OSU has lost to 5 teams. 1.LSU National Champs 2. Florida National Champs 3. Illinois Rose Bowl Team 4. Penn State Orange Bowl Champs 5. Texas National Champs OSU never lost to Stanford, South Carolina, Pitt, Auburn, Colorado, etc. Thats pretty fucking good if you ask me. if your going to lose at least you lose to the National Champs or a BCS bowl team. Although, i give florida and LSU all credit for coming prepared and winning, Ohio State played worse in those two games than they have in the last 10 years. Hell OSU out gained LSU in yards. the problem was stupid penalties that gave both Florida and LSU amazing field postion. We can argue all day, back and forth, but its impossible to argue Ohio State is undeserving.

| OSU is the new Notre Dame. They do pretty good in the regular season and get blown out in a bowl. The next year everyone hypes them to hell and back and it repeats. Notre Dame has finally fallen off the map. OSU will be next. Oh and let's not talk about the Big 10, whose star RB ran a 4.73 40 and will be a 5th rd. pick at best.

Both years it should have been SEC Champ vs USC. USC plays far and away a harder schedule and even with a loss to Stanford last year, was a better team by far than tosu. When a Big 12/Big East team finally figures out how not to piss away their chances late in the season, you can substitute them for either the Pac 10 or SEC champ. The Big 10 is a trash football conference, living on traditions that have shit-all to do with actually choosing the best team in the country in a given year.

USC plays in a stronger conference year-in and year-out than tosu ever thought about for the past decade. Saying tosu deserves anything is blatant ignorant homerism at its finest. Just shut the fuck up now before you and your school get embarrassed yet again this year.

Do me a favor and tell me who OSU did beat the last two years. What's that? Kent State and Ball State are great examples of how to get to the national title? Listen, I'm not ragging on OSU (they hardly need anyone to start that up), but they need to step aside and let the real teams play for once. We need to recognize that every team can have an off week once in a while and stop telling ourselves "ZOMG ONE LOSS IS BETTER THAN TWO LOSS" in every case. Is that often true? I think so, but in every single case? No, clearly not. Bottom line is we need to think longer about our bowl picks before going "omg this team is only 1 loss let them in!". Some teams have the stats and record to deserve a bid, but clearly the team isn't ready. Is OSU ready this year? We'll find out. I don't think it's worth arguing before the season starts, and we'll find out if they're for real when they play USC. But all of this "OMG UNDEFEATED THEY RULE!!" talk needs to stop for whichever team it's for. Some teams play easy schedules, some do not. Let's begin to take that more into account.

there is absolutely no one that usc has beaten that is any better than osu competition ooc or in conf. that is the bottom line. and actually, usc and osu share many of the same opponents, like texas and michigan. there is NO DIFFERENCE EXCEPT WHAT ESPN TELLS YOU. you think usc is good because espn tells you such.
