| A Bearded Gnome | What an insult to Texas if that happens. Let's rub more salt into that wound.

This love affair with Boise St. needs to end now. Look, I loved the Boise St. v. OU game too. My friend and I were jumping up and down screaming while watching it on TV (apparently we were one of the few people that actually watched the game). I even predicted a BSU win. But this Boise St. team is not the 2005/2006 team that beat OU. Not even close. I hate the Ohio State homers as much as the rest of you, and I'm tired of seeing them get their asses kicked in the championship and BCS bowl games as well, but Ohio State would beat Boise State easily this year. They would likely beat Utah or any of the other non-BCS teams (e.g., Ball State), with the exception of maybe TCU. If Boise St. is lucky and the WAC lets them out of their contract with the Humanitarian Bowl (yeah, that's right, what bowl?), they'll likely end up playing TCU in the Poinsettia Bowl, and you'll see just how exciting and "tough" this Boise State team is . . . .

ya cause UF losing to Michigan in Captial ONE with a injuried Tebow is the same as getting crushed twice back to back BCS nc lmao. Listen up guys, Dumar just admitted Michigan was better than Ohio State. Dumar you are a filthy dirty Benedict Arnold. How could you? Admitting your rivals the Michigan Wolverines, the masters of disasters, could do something your team could not? By george! Change your avatar from Fucky to a real avatar, one that not only is a X-men character and a rabid mammal but defeats communists too!

+7 Internets | cfb Wait, were using the Tebow injured excuse for UF losing to Michigan? I saw Tebow play the whole game... If we are going to use that excuse then lets go back another year when OSU played UF and lost their best player on the opening play of the game (after he scored a TD). I know some of you are sick of seeing OSU, and I can see it from your angle, but the hate is a little unwarranted. Teams lose games, thats the game of football. Sometimes you lose more games in a time frame than at another point in time. LSU won the National Championship last year, this year they lost 5 games. Not many saw that coming. Next year when they are back in the hunt is everyone going to be screaming about how LSU lost 5 games and they are undeserving? No. Its not like OSU lost to scrub teams in their bowl games. They lost to The National Champ. Every other team in the nation had already lost to some lesser opponent that year. Slick Willey Quote:
Everyone here knows I'm an OSU homer, I won't deny it. I hope I represent our fans in a positive light. I enjoy getting into discussions with everyone about CFB, however, I don't think its worth it to bash other teams anymore. Hopefully, down the road we can get a better system in place to fix our beloved sport! Last edited by Darkko; 12-03-2008 at 03:48 PM.. | |

+7 Internets | cfb Tommy Tuberville out at Auburnżafter 10 years as coach - NCAA Football - SI.com Ugh, Saban is only going to become more powerful now. Kinda seems like a weird time to fire a good coach. Sure Tuberville hasn't been the best but you are going to be starting over right as Saban is gaining power in Bama? The lead is only going to increase. |
