Don't they always? ; )

Oklahoma beats texas tech. That's an easy one. BCS tie-breaker puts Texas into Big-12 title game, and they cream Missouri again.

Alabama beats Florida in SEC championship.

Alabama wins National Championship.

Mmm, I'm not sure if Bama will be getting "upset" in the SECCG. Florida is simply dominating their opposition right now and if they keep it up down the stretch then Bama will need some magic to bring it home in Atlanta. However if we see the Tebow from the beginning of the season instead of the Heisman winner that's been playing the last few weeks, then it's a toss-up.

The motherfucking bama fans at my office are going to be insufferable if they bring home the championship.

Tech will edge OU in Norman in a barn burner. OU's defense is worse than OSU's, and you saw what TTU did to their secondary. Also, OU's premiere pass rusher is out as well as their star LB. It's gonna be a test of who's offense blinks first. I'll give Oklahoma a good edge due to homefield advantage and a grudge that TTU screwed them out of a NC last year. But I think Tech will win the trench battle 3/4th's of the time enough to have a 1-2 score lead.

Also, don't let Stoops 60-3 home record fool you. If the Red River Rivalry wasn't played in neutral territory every year, that number would look a lot differently.

I also predict Florida rapes Bama in the SEC title. Tebow and Co. have made great strides since their loss to Ole Miss, and I think Bama hasn't seen enough adversity to make them mentally tough against a team like Florida. LSU is absolutely terrible on offense and they barely squeaked by. But who knows, maybe they learned a lot from that game.

Regardless, I foresee a TTU-Florida national title.

A bunch of you mentioned the ACC. Miami right now is very young. In 1-2 years they could be a top 5 team.

I don't see it, other than maybe the ACC staying down and that letting them pad that record (see UNC). SEC and Big XII are the only conferences that haven't been completely embarrassing in recent memory for at least a year or two. Hell... this year they're the only conferences worth a damn. How a team like Wake Forest is ranked after beating no ranked teams (one of those wins being an OT win vs Duke), having 3 losses (one of which was to navy , another a 26 pt shutout to Maryland) blows my mind.

I'd go with you Regime, but I think a slow Big Ten guy such as myself may not be fast enough to get away after an argument with an SEC fan, and get shot :P Although on the other hand, if I become a Florida fan for a day I would probably get a +speed bonus...

You are a blind fucking retard if you think OSU's defense is better than OU's. I'd love for you to point out exactly which part of the OSU defense is better, though.

As far as the OU/TTU game, it scares the shit out of me. TTU has the best offensive line in the country and one thing the you are right about is that we are without our best pass rusher. Coupled with the fact that that TTU also has a decent running game, I am wondering how we slow them down. Tech's defense is better this year, but OU's offense is pretty damn good as well, so I'm curious to see how that plays out.

I'll admit, after some research, that you are correct. OU's defense is better than OSU's. I was basing my assumption that, prior to the Tech game, OSU's defense was holding teams to an aggregate total less than OUs. I'll admit OU has better players at the skill position on defense, but I was just going off the numbers. Numbers, which, by this point in time, no longer enforce my point considering we (TTU) put up 56 points on them.

Nevertheless, it will be a good game. The better point to argue is whether or not OU's defense is better than Techs because that is going to be the difference in the game. I feel better about us getting pressure on Bradford than you guys getting pressure on Harrell. Unless you guys can get pressure on Harrell with 3-4 consistently, or playing man coverage like shit on velcro, it's going to be a test of which offense blinks first, as I said before.

The answer on how to defeat that kind of spread is to get pressure with a 3 or 4 man rush. You either need a Jim Johnson or Rex Ryan calling/designing plays, or a ton of great athletes on the line. Bob Stoops used to be in that category, so I actually think he could put something together. The real problems are the injuries to the Sooners, though.

One silver lining: Harrell and his lack of mobility. You know where Harrell is going to be most of the time, so you really just need to outperform their offensive line... good luck!

On a side note, I'm rooting for Texas still but a game between Florida and TT could be legendary as far as scoring potential goes.

I'm not sure how good Tech's D-line is, but I definitely think it will be won at the lines. OU's D-line is good, but unless Stoops has a great plan I don't see them getting to Harrell consistently with just 4.

I'm hopeful that OU's secondary will be able to force turnovers. They've been pretty good at that since the Texas game, mainly because of a change at SS.

I'm turning around on my Oklahoma pick for next week. I forgot what a joke Spongebob Bowl-flop is. There is not a worse Big game coach in college football except for maybe Tressel.

Why do I have this weird feeling Spurrier is going to spring a trap on the gators. I don't know that they win, but it feels like a close game to me.
