While the Pac-10 is atrocious this year, I don't think anyone (At least, not me) thinks USC is horrible because they lost to Oregon State. It *almost* doesn't matter who they lost to.

The thing that gets me.. is they lose one of these games every single year! Every year! It's as if they think they should just be allowed to walk into the NC - no matter what. As if they don't need to prepare or show up for every game. They've outscored their opponents since then by what.. 100 points? 2 straight shutouts? They're an amazing team, potentially, but they didn't really get to prove it (thanks to a weak pac10) and they shot themselves in the foot. It's like watching one of your friends through hs/college who is really smart but shits their life away partying and doing drugs. The potential is there but jesus christ step up to the plate and prove it.

On the flip side, I'm down for that suicide pact if OSU makes it to the NC. What a train-wreck that would result in. I do think they can beat overrated PSU this week, though. It should be just enough for them to make it to the Rose Bowl and get blown out a second time by USC. (Here's to hoping they get beaten by Illinois again, which seems possible). Ugh! Shame they're going to lose so much on defense this year. Pryor looks like he could be as good as advertised (one day).

Oh well, at least we got Dumar back. It could be worse, we could have to listen to OU boy and UGA boy talk endlessly about which team is more overrated.
