| '07-'08 NBA Playoffs Picks in bold. Western Conference (1) Lakers vs (8) Nuggets (2) Hornets vs (7) Mavericks (3) Spurs vs (6) Suns (4) Jazz vs (5) Rockets Eastern Conference (1) Celtics vs (8) Hawks (2) Pistons vs (7) 76'ers (3) Magic vs (6) Raptors (4) Cavaliers vs (5) Wizards East is pretty straight forward, can't see any upsets. The west is so balanced, nobody would be considered an upset except maybe Denver. |

| Spurs Suns is a tough call. Partly cause i really want to see Phoenix beat them. The Spurs were looking like that well-oiled champion tonight. Though no Horry this year to lay Nash out i think? I know he's had some injury, not sure if he'll be available for this series. I know his play has been nonexistant all year but he always comes up with big plays in big series regardless. Mavs Hornets is another tough call. You have to favor Dallas cause of their experience and the Hornets lack of depth, but who knows. If Kidd is hitting 3's like he was tonight (not likely) the Mavericks could make a run to the conference finals. The Wizards have the ability to beat the Cavs. No joke now that Jamison/Butler/Arenas are all healthy. Lebron has been hurting, the Cavs haven't been playing well. |

| I'm just happy my Hawks are back in the playoffs. Yes, they are going to get swept. Yes, I am still going to go to at least one game here in Atlanta. But it will be the heaviest drinking game I have attended in my life. |

| I just hope the Suns/Spurs series is a grueling 7 game series so they will be worn down for the Hornets. If the Hornets series is long and exhausting and either the Suns or Spurs sweeps or loses just 1 I don't think they will have the stamina and depth to outlast them. In a short series I would pick the Hornets over anyone but if they get bogged down and face a fresher team it's going to get them. Oh edit: My picks, let me show you them. Western Conference (1) Lakers vs (8) Nuggets (2) Hornets vs (7) Mavericks (3) Spurs vs (6) Suns (4) Jazz vs (5) Rockets Eastern Conference (1) Celtics vs (8) Hawks (2) Pistons vs (7) 76'ers (3) Magic vs (6) Raptors (4) Cavaliers vs (5) Wizards

+9 Internets | I was shaky on the Jazz/Rockets but I think the Rockets can pull it out. The West is pretty insane this year all in all. Western Conference (1) Lakers vs (8) Nuggets (2) Hornets vs (7) Mavericks (3) Spurs vs (6) Suns (4) Jazz vs (5) Rockets Eastern Conference (1) Celtics vs (8) Hawks (2) Pistons vs (7) 76'ers (3) Magic vs (6) Raptors (4) Cavaliers vs (5) Wizards |

+20 Internets | Thread needs proper direction. You need to pick more than the first round so people just don't come here posting predictions for each series (boring). Western Conference (1) Lakers vs (8) Nuggets (2) Hornets vs (7) Mavericks (3) Spurs vs (6) Suns (4) Jazz vs (5) Rockets (home court in this series despite the seed) Eastern Conference (1) Celtics vs (8) Hawks (2) Pistons vs (7) 76'ers (3) Magic vs (6) Raptors (4) Cavaliers vs (5) Wizards |

| I don't think the Hornets can pull it off. Chris Paul really showed his inexperience last night, he let the double team get to him and almost fouled out. Jason Kidd is seemingly getting better every game, he totally dominated last night. It's going to come down to Point guard experience and comparing Chris Paul to Jason Kidd in that department... Hornets did a good job shutting down Dirk though. |

| Hornets lost that game on purpose. They wanted to play Dallas instead of Denver in the first round.

| Bullshit, if they wanted to lose they wouldn't of played their starters the whole game. Not to mention Denver is clearly the worst team in the western conference playoffs, why wouldn't Hornets want to play them? |

| Paul sat nearly the entire second quarter. They don't want to play Denver because it's about matchups. Records mean nothing, it's about who you think you match up best against.
