Ok, thats interesting, because the exact same thing happened in the Spurs/Hornets game, including the announcers saying "Sounds like the crowd just saw the reply on the big screen." Agree they should show the replys. Reminds me of NFL games. You know what I'm talking about. 3rd and goal, 5 seconds to go in the super bowl, and cut to some infobabe talking about some family drama some player had to go through and wow lookie where they are at today in the NFL, and then cut back to the game and theres confetti everywhere and no one knows what the fuck just happened.

| I amazed that chuck turned his PR around..People used to hate him almost as bad as Rodman when he was playing.

it's nice to hear someone speak the truth. well, at least what they think the truth is. most commentators and anchors are too pc. watching the game currently. i think marv needs to trademark "....AND the Foul!" Last edited by Kolle : 05-21-2008 at 06:48 PM.

The Lakers did well clawing back from 20 down, the Spurs missed a ton of open shots though and Manu seemed like he was single handedly trying to give the game away. They went cold for basically the last half of the 3rd and into the 4th on open shots too which has to be frustrating. Then they, the Spurs, started hitting every once in a while and the Lakers played much better defense and suddenly it was tied. I think after some tape viewing and that, they'll be alright. I wouldn't be surprised if this series went 7, but I think the Spurs can win in 6. Each game being as close as this one though, I'm betting on at least 1 OT game.

I think its pretty safe to say that Kobe will not sit back and only take 2 shots in the first half in any play off game ever again. Once Kobe went into kill mode. it was game over.

To be honest, I bet Pop and Co. would be thrilled to have Kobe take as many shots as he wants from the opening tip. He was actively getting his teammates involved early to get their confidence up, and guess what? It worked. Now take that away from them and have Kobe be the dominate one from the get go and I don't think the same result as tonight happens. They're a better team when he does what he did tonight. 2 shots? Maybe not, maybe with him spreading it out over 4 quarters but to have him take over a game from the get go is the wrong approach and HE knows it. Thats why he did what he did tonight and says what he says to the media about getting his team involved. Sure he can take over a game at any given moment, but if he starts off that way, this deep in the playoffs against a tough opponent it will spell trouble. He's finally learned that it takes a team and building confidence over the course of 48 minutes to pull out a win. Want to change that? Go right ahead.
