| Manny, Manny, Manny | McGrady needs to grow a pair and start dominating at the end of games. He made one of the most retarded fouls of his career late in the game that almost cost them the game. Then when they call em on it, he gets defensive after. He needs to have that basketball killer instinct in him like Kobe, Baron Davis, Dirk and a few others have. He's got all the talent in the world, i dont see why he doesnt take it over at the end like he should. |

+13 Internets | Jazz sort of handed that one away at the foul line. Williams had an excellent game with 28 points and 12 assists, but he missed a couple key plays right at the end.

When did assists become the OMFGPWN stat? Assists = the System. If you're in a system that one individual dominates the ball and runs the offense he better be averaging 10+ assists game. Last team to win a championship with someone averaging 10+ ? Magic, with the 88 Lakers. Even more interesting is who besides him has even done it. Go look it up.(Don't hold your breath) There is a reason for that.

| If Chicago had added Luol Deng to the package, Kobe would be a Bull right now.

Btw, Darren Williams outscored McGrady and still put up 12 assists, so :rolleyes at anyone that doesn't think he's easily one of the top PGs in the league. Chris Paul is an amazing player, he's having a fantastic season, and I hope he wins MVP over Kobe, but put him in Utah's physical lineup and you could make the same argument as putting Williams on another team. I would put the two players on the same level in environments that play to their strengths. If I had to put numbers to them, I'd say CP is the best PG in the league, with Williams a close second. | |

| I doubt it, Mitch Kupcek really had no desire to ever trade Kobe, and ultimately was holding out for the missing pieces that would complete the team. In comes D-Fish, Trevor Ariza followed mid-season by Pau Gasol.

| He may have had no desire, but at the time he had no choice. They were actively shopping him. I can assure you that if Deng had been included that trade would have happened.

+6 Internets | I'm assuming you mean not included. The whole deal was a bust from the get go because Kobe would not sign off unless Deng and Ben stayed in Chicago.

| At the end of the 1st quarter to only squander that lead and lose by 15.
