I agree, in the context of that game, it was the right call...however, being a huge Lakers fan, they could have easily given two shots to Barry or called him on the travel.

| Manny, Manny, Manny | I Dont complain about it often. I have a few times this post season, but i just like the sport itself. I love when 1 team takes control of the game and the other team self destructs. Thats what i love. I love see'ing people frustrated while playing and have no answer for the other team. I still find enjoyment out of most of them games. |

+1 Internets | FOX Sports on MSN - NBA - Hmmmm . . . makes you wonder. Funny thing is, a lot of people have felt that Kobe and the Lakers have been getting a LOT of calls in their favor during the playoffs up to the Championship, almost as if the NBA *wanted* the Lakers to make it to the finals, but now Lakers fans are thinking there is a conspiracy to have the Celtics win it all ![]()

| Anyone watching espn just see the thing they had about Curt Schilling being at Game 2 and observing? It's kinda long so I'll spoiler it..some good insight from a guy who doesn't follow basketball. Theres a bit of Celtic rooting but overall it's good. Also, his 5th point made me lol... Spoiler Alert, click show to read: |

| Schilling's post was better than 99% of sports writers that get paid for a living to report that stuff. Why because it was honest, fresh, and different. I am sick of the same stories and kissing players asses like Kobe or Lebron. Yea they can dunk nice, big deal, write an honest, fresh, and different story for once. I wanna see your opinion not a general repost I can see on sportscenter, have some balls and make it interesting. Seriously I would love to see Schilling do sports for the Boston Globe when he retired. As for the whole foul thing in the NBA it is pretty bizarre how some of the refs call fouls. On guys like Michael Jordan I have seen him trip and fall and nobody touched him, in fact nobody was near him, and Michael got the foul call (NO JOKE THIS HAPPENED). Michael Jordan averaged like 30 points well like 10-15 of those would always be free throws. Some players get so many cheap phantom foul calls that it is just crazy...Lebron, Kobe, MJ, and so on. Yes...Kobe is one of these players and for Lakers fans to cry about it is just sad. Look at Shaq that guy gets raped and still doesn't get calls. The refs are just not consistent. The fact is that last night Phil Jackson told his players to stop fouling. They are not playing good D they are hacking the Celtics. When the Celts played the Cavs and Pistions the Celtics did a lot of hacking. When I watched the games I would yell out "Play D...stop fucking hacking." The fact is the Lakers D sucks and the Celts D is pretty nasty. Do you see the types of shots they force Kobe to take? They are some crazy shots. The reason the C's are winning is the same reason the Giants beat the Pats in the Super Bowl....better defense. So stop hacking and start moving your feet. So yea EXPLAIN TO ME how this is an offensive foul? This is what MJ did his entire career, (ball fake draw contact then shoot, and get the basket +1): Look how far RIP jumped. You leave your feet like that expect a foul to be called. The NBA refs just SUCK! NO WAY THIS IS A NO CALL!!!! If it was Kobe, Lebron, or Jordan they would have gotten the call. Yea they sell it better but players shouldn't have to sell it/flop to get a call.

| We bawlin boi! | I think the guys kind of a d-bag myself, but part of that goes to losing respect for him when he called up his buddies at Sony to get his EQII guild summoned into a raid zone they were locked out of, just for a first raid kill when everyone else was racing for it legit. Even tried to remain hush hush about it until it got leaked who he was and how Drow got zoned in, then had to do damage control over it. Other than that, I mostly agree with what he wrote as far as his NBA commentary goes.

| Schilling's blog was OK.. but I disagree with assessment of Kobe and the glossing over of KG. When things are going bad, everyone gets upset.. even KG and that's fine. Maybe if he was sitting there when the Lakers were dominating the roles would have been reversed. I don't care for Kobe's personality that much myself but he isn't some anomaly and to call him out like that was out of line.. but then again Curt is getting infamous for that. ![]()

| because his feet are set for the shot. once he sees rip in air he moves his feet(both) and draws contact then shoots. the difference in that and the game 1 call was that he didnt move his pivot foot. so i was wrong on that assessment before.

| BUBBLES THE MONKEY!!! | I'm happy with the result as a Celtics fan. Kobe had his game where he went ballistic, Sashja had his only epic playoff game. Pierce was an abortion and we lose by 6 AT LA? I'll fucking take it. They're even on calls now since LA got every 50-50 call in game 3. Game 4 should be fun. |
