| Boo Hornets! I expected as much. It was close until the end. Closer than I thought it would be really. Duncan wasn't going to have 3 awful games in a row. Paul was just sick.. but they got cold late, at the worst time.

| Manny, Manny, Manny | I think the Hornets win in 6. Like they said above, they just got cold at the wrong time. From here on out the games are going to be tough. They didnt have 8 50 game winners in the West for nothing. This years NBA play offs are going to be epic i think. |

The real difference in the game was SA taking away Stojakovic by putting Bowen on him. They forced Paul to be more of the primary scorer and he wore down some at the end, gave up layups to Parker (who was much more rested at the end of the game), left some jumpshots short, etc.

We match up a lot better against Cleveland than we did against Atlanta in the sense that they don't have a lot of guys who can play good defense. No one can guard Garnett. He's going to absolutely go off every game of this series. What's amazing was that Cleveland had such a quick start and then Boston's bench came in, stole all the momentum, took the lead, and then it was over. Boston went from down 10 to up 10 in one quarter and Cleveland never recovered. They had basically given up once they lost the lead. I don't know what's going to happen. I want to think Boston wins in 5, but I want to see them win a game on the road before I say that comfortably, so I'll say they win in 6 (still requires them to win on the road, but I think Cleveland blew their chance to beat Boston at home). It's also worth saying that if it happens to be a Boston/LA final (which is a very good possibility), I think the Lakers win the series. I'm not sure anyone can guard Kobe in that series. Maybe they don't have to and they let him get his 30 points while shutting down everyone else, but that's a huge risk to take. I think it's obvious to everyone that New Orleans vs San Antonio will probably be the best series in the playoffs (if you didn't see it coming already, you did after last night).

| I just hope Paul doesn't end up like Dwayne Wade. People were just going gaga over him when the Heat pushed to the Finals.. and what has he done in the last 2 years? I think he has spent more time talking to Chuck on the phone than he has on the court.

| I don't see that happening, as the main reason Wade has disappeared is various injuries directly related to his reckless play style. Couple that with the fact that he played deep into the playoffs two straight years & the olympic stuff and it's no wonder he broke down. Paul doesn't seem to throw himself into the lane with reckless abandon repeatedly like Wade does, so I think he'll be better off. Wade's physical breakdown really makes you appreciate what a freak Allen Iverson is though, as he's a smaller guy who's been doing it far longer and can still break ankles.
