Celtics vs. San Antonio imo (Spurs winning it all) I am a Spurs fan, what else do you expect me to pick

Lakers Lakers
Rockets

Mavs Spurs Spurs
Spurs

Celtics Celtics Celtics
Wiz

Pistons Pistons
Magic

In reality, this will be a tough go. West is stacked from 1-8, no upsets in this conference, any team can be any team. I dont have as much confidence in the Spurs as I have had in other years.

On the East side of things, Wizards could be a spoiler on many series (especially the Celtics).

Same reason Detroit played their starters the first half against the Cavs, to keep em active. While I don't know if the Hornets dropped it on purpose it's possible.

I don't see The Spurs getting past the Suns, even during the regular season the Suns handled them pretty well, Plays offs are totally different I know, I still don't see it happening though.

Paul got benched because he hit 5 fouls in the 3rd quarter. They brought him back near the end to try and finish the game but Kidd and Terry went on a 3-point rampage.

No, he sat 9 minutes in the 2nd quarter also. Doesn't matter.. no team would come out and say they lost on purpose but they were up 11 in the 3rd quarter and kinda just stopped playing hard. Maybe Dallas really outworked them, maybe the Hornets took their foot off the gas. Doesn't matter. Playoff time!

Exactly. playoff basketball is MUCH diffrent then regular season play. They don't call as many fouls etc..

Its the year of the Hornets!

I wouldnt say that. Go back 2 years ago when the Heat won it and look at how many lame ass fouls got called for the Heat. Anytime anyone so much as laid a fingernail on Wade he was at the line for 2.

I think the Suns would like to have a word about fouls and suspensions with you.

When New Orleans hasn't beat Dallas in Dallas in forever and their second round game will be either San Antonio or Phoenix, saying they lost that game on purpose is pretty fucking retarded.

Yeah, other than the fact that nearly every analyst agreed that the Hornets match up better against the Mavs than they do the Nuggets and playing them in the 1st round would probably be better... but yeah, I guess some laymen on FoH would know better.

Well here's hoping they give the Hornets a title for beating the Mavericks. Pretty sure if analysts were always right too then the Tarheels would've beaten UCLA in the finals, that OSU would've stomped Florida in the BCS championship and that the Patriots were going to beat the Giants. You know, because they're on TV and all so they're right

let me also add that I'm not necessarily saying they don't match up better. But Denver plays no defense, so while they would've won a game or two I think NO would've had a much easier time breaking down their gameplan and beating them. Though it doesn't matter since LA won their game. Hornets haven't looked good for the last month anyway.

I wouldn't be surprised if any team in the west lost their matchup, maybe if the lakers lost to the nuggets..but its still possible. Arguing about it isn't really going to change anything

Agree here.. I dunno if the season has worn them out and their lack of depth is catching up or what. Maybe they were resting up a little so it made them look bad. It's not going to be easy that's for sure.. but no team has it easy.
