| Losing Alston fucked them. They were in it until he got injured again. Probably had alot to do with why they lost the first two games of the series and Jackson could not handle Williams to save his life. |

| It's hardly surprising. I dunno a team in the west that wasn't hoping to match up with Houston. The Jazz will actually have to show up every game to stand a chance against the Lakers. I just don't see it happening, especially without homecourt advantage. Quote:
Honestly, I think Matumbo is as good as Yao, he's just tall. Last edited by gurgi : 05-02-2008 at 10:28 PM. | |

+20 Internets | Dikembe has no offense. Yao gives the Rockets a 2nd legit scoring option. He's not "just as good as Yao". Yao was a 20/10 player this year, what is Mutumbo, like 5/10? He's right there with him defensively, but Yao for as dissapointing as he's been for me a lot of the time is a legit 20 point a game player that would've made a huge difference.

| I was at the Hawks game. Holy shit. I have NEVER seen a crowd so into a game, any sport, any event that I have ever been to. During one timeout the jumbotron showed a montage of Zaza as Rocky, the place went fucking nuts. To be honest, if the Hawks win Game 7 not only will it be one of the greatest upsets in NBA history, they can beat the Cavs in less than 7. Uh oh. |

| I would put it as the greatest. A lot more than Golden State over Dallas last year. This type of shit just doesn't happen in the NBA. Teams that everyone knows are good before the year starts, then follow it up with a 67 win season, do not lose a series to a team of Atlanta's caliber. They just don't. If the Celtics do lose, I really will feel sorry for Garnett. Even though I can't stand Boston sports in general, he's the type of guy you pull for. |

| Seriously, yeah. Boston getting beat by Atlanta would be pretty much earth-shattering. By far the biggest playoff upset I'll have seen during my tenure as an NBA fan. There hasn't been a team as star-studded as Boston since the quadruple-Hall of Famer Lakers from a few years ago. For Boston to lose to the perennial East cellar dweller, a team that -- no offense -- has been the laughing stock of the NBA for at least a decade now. Just, wow. I cannot WAIT for game seven. |

| Watch the officiating in Game 7, it's going to be ugly. Paul Pierce has been my favorite player since that huge comeback in 2002 or 2003, but I can't help but to pull for Atlanta this time. |

| That's pretty rash of Dallas imo. If every coach in the NBA was fired for not winning a championship there wouldn't be many coaches. Ultimately they're still the same team too...how long does this new coach have to put together a new team before his own job is on the line? ![]() |

| Yep. I don't see how Carlisle is going to give them anything Avery Johnson didn't. Johnson had three pretty successful winning seasons. Making the finals, 67 wins, making the playoffs. Honestly they could have easily missed the playoffs this year. With Carlisle at the helm, they might not make it next year. Depending on injuries, it should be more difficult to make the playoffs in the west next year than it was this year. |

| Carlisle will get 2 years and one big trade. If he doesn't get to the finals or damn close by 2010 he is gone.
