+1 Internets | Eastern Conference (1) Montreal Canadiens vs. (8) Boston Bruins (2) Pittsburgh Penguins vs. (7) Ottawa Senators Really been bad lately, but I think they will pull themselves together and beat Pittsburgh at least. +19 Internets | Not sure if this is sarcasm or not. While I'd like to see Washington go deep, they're not all that great of a team. If Ovechkin can get shut down even for a game or two, that'll be enough to punt them. Like it or not, if one player either scores or assists on nearly half your goals, you're probably not going to be successful. That said, Ovechkin may well be unstoppable for a round or two, so they might well surprise a team or two. |

The fighting Ovechkins could beat the flyers but certainly not easily, it's not like the capitals are bringing a wealth of playoff experience to this matchup. | |

+19 Internets | Liver League 2008 http://minervafoundation.ca/liverlea...eagueRules.pdf Really cool hockey pool I enter with my bro and a few friends. The way points are done makes things very interesting: two years ago naturally anyone who had Oilers cleaned the fuck up because of the double points (Pronger and Roloson were worth a ridiculous amount of points), while last year it was much more of a mixed bag since front runners made the finals. Fuck who am I kidding? I go because the place is overstaffed with hot waitresses so they can sit in your lap and call out your picks for you. |
