NBC's ratings for game 3 were up a ton from previous seasons, but still pretty fuckin' low. Still, improvement is improvement.

Sure looks that way. Pittsburgh looked pretty good in the first, but most of that was Hossa. Malkin remained invisible, and Crosby wasn't much better. Hell, you know things are bad when Roberts is one of your better players. Detroit didn't look all that dominating other, they were just stiffling on defense as usual. Osgood was great when he needed to be, while Fleury at the other hand looked shakey, but you can't blame him for the loss when his team only scores a single goal.

The camera angle nbc uses on the power play from behind the blue line drives me fucking insane.

Yeah not a fan of that one, but I *do* like the one from behind the net they use sometimes.

Malkin wasnt invisible, he was very visible and looked horrid. On that 5 on 3 in the third, he had the puck on his stick many times and didnt do a damn thing with it but lose it. He didnt take a shot, he didnt pass it, just lost it every time.

Im just hoping for a miracle at this point for Pittsburgh.

Yeah I'm hoping they at least make it competitive and fun to watch. About as far as I'm willing to go now. Malkin looked absolutely terrified to do anything with the puck.

What a bullshit penalty. Utterly unacceptable.

Edit: The interference call in the 2nd overtime I mean.

Im kinda impartial on the goalie interference calls. On one side, you cant just stop on a dime when your on a rush, on the other hand, how can a goalie make another save if theres a rebound if you run him over and hes on his back?
