| BUBBLES THE MONKEY!!! | MLB 2008 Season Well, the opening game is almost over. I've yet to sleep and before Jacoby made that amazing catch, I was pretty peeved. 8 hits, 3 runs, a ton of double plays. It's pretty obvious Tito doesn't really want to use his pen (or else he would of used Okajima instead of Snyder). I guess we can use this for predictions too. AL: Sox, Tigers, M's, Cleveland as the Wild Card NL: Mets, Brewers, Padres, Cubs as the Wild Card I like Cleveland vs Chicago in the series with Cleveland winning. I am INFINITELY happier right now ![]() First Brandon Moss, one of my favorite prospects, cranks a tying home run and then Manny bombs a double off the wall. Good Times. A little too interesting from Paps.....

| Cleveland has virtually the same team as last year, and I think they will easily make the playoffs again. My only problem is that CC sabathia is waiting out the season to see how well they do or he will probably walk. And hopefully travis hafner has a awesome year. So my AL choices are CLE, DET, BOS, LAA |

| AL: Angels Tigers Red Sox Indians (wild card) NL: Dodgers Brewers Mets Padres (wild card) Hoping the twins get that wild card spot but I am doubtful. We'll see how the rotation sets itself up this year. Hoping Liriano can make a strong comeback, but it's going to be a really tough AL Central this year. |

+20 Internets | I just decided to stop doubting the Yankees finding a way to make the playoffs and won't pick against them until they do. I think the Tigers adding Cabrera and Willis puts them over the top in the Central. I also don't see Sabathia having the same type of year. Surprised that's the pick you questioned over the Dodgers |

Sucks to be the Angels right now if Escobar ends up needing surgery. Missing Lackey in the start of season and Escobar out for most of it? Ouch.. | |

| MLB 2008 Looking forward to this year. Every year I seem to enjoy baseball more and more. AL: Cleveland Red Sox Mariners WC: Tigers Hopeful: Twins! However, looking more like an 80 win year for my favorite club. NL: Edit: Brain fart, meant Arizona. Cubs Mets WC: Dodgers All in all should be a fun year. AL Central will be a fun division to keep an eye on. Last edited by Voldeth : 03-27-2008 at 08:40 PM. |
