Felix pitched a CG!!!

Was nice to see the Tigers finally beat somebody up like they're supposed to be doing.

Felix needs to wait until I'm not fencing before he pitches another game like that.

C.C. needs to work his contract situation out ASAP. It's dragging it out and it's effecting him. Maybe if he stopped talking publicly about it he'd be fine. You can just see in how he pitches right now that something isn't right with him.

This is proving half right so far. I love how I chose Tigers to win it all in my first post and they've been atrocious. But I never expected CC to have another Cy Young type season

Tampa signs Longoria long term. I'm hearing 6/17 with 2 option years and incentives along the way. Basically it's a good faith deal that buys out his 3 club years, his 3 arb years, and if he's as good as he should be, 2 years of FA. I see the FA years coming in at 12MM per.

It's less than Tulo's deal because Longoria's apparently has a ton of incentives as opposed to Tulo's.

I love this move.

It's a good deal for both sides. He gets money now which is nice and in term he plays at a possible discount for those years of FA. If he's a bust, 2.83m a year isn't going to break your bank or anything

The Official Site of The Tampa Bay Rays: News: Rays sign Longoria to multiyear contract

It can be worth up to 44M for 9 years which means it would buy out three years of FA. I'm so happy for this deal. If all plays right and he's as good as he should be, then he would be 31 when he hits FA.

Unless he really would be 33.

2 outs, 2nd and 3rd, pitcher spot up with the Mets up 5-1 and Johan is....hitting in the 8th!?

Okay...Normally that's a pinch hit situation. I'm a firm believer in the whole padding the lead here, but whatever.

And that's why. If you get a single, two runs score and it's 7-1. Now it's 5-4 with NO FUCKING OUTS.

Haha. Saw the highlights. Poor guy had to stay in the game and take a beating because the bullpen was destroyed from last night. Arizona is doing well this year.

If the Astros can start playing like they did this week more often, they will be a scary good team. Their pitching still blows, but good lord do they have some hitters this year... 30 runs in 3 games? Hell yeah!
