Daisuke looks unbelievable right now. he pretty much has to be though. I told enough people he would live up to the hype this year. If he didn't I was pretty dicked.

I think he'll have a much better year than last. He has less pressure and will have a chance to just go out there and pitch.

Here's the hoping the Phillies have the Mets number again this year.

Wow, tigers are having a hell of a start eh? my Indians arent doing that great either but damn, they'll probably go 0-9 or 0-10 before they win a game

The real question is how many games do they need to lose before people stop saying, 'it's still early, just wait'.

Quite a few, i'd imagine. Still, they have a pretty mediocre starting rotation and a very shaky bullpen, but you know those bats will wake up. Miguel Cabrera isn't going to keep hitting .100 for very long. Was looking forward to a Cleveland/Detroit division race, and here we see the White Sox as the hot AL Central team. Go figure.

White Sox might look good but GODDAMN look at those Royals, and gratz to Detroit for their first win.

Royals are looking good right now. I am most surprised by their collective 2.25 ERA. I know we're not far into the season right now but it's like a breath of fresh air seeing the royals not sucking.

2 things.
1) Phil Hughes got fucking DEMOLISHED. He looked awful today and honestly, I think they may be on to something with Drew in the 2 hole.

2) We need to nickname Varitek Mr Rally Killer. Every time he comes up in a big spot with 2 outs he strikes outs, and if there is one out, it's a DP. I'm beginning to have serious doubts on whether or not management will bring him back simply because he has long spells where he can't hit anymore.

Why I Would Trade Ryan Howard | Phillies Nation

Really awesome read on why Phillies Nation would trade Ryan Howard. All things aside, they say what I say in that he's really not even on the level of the elite players. The only thing is that he's one of the faces of the game, but it could end of working to their advantage.

He really is a stand up guy, I've meant him a few times, but for pitching, I'd trade him in a second.

Anyone watch the Houston/Phillies game last night? Talk about pulling your hair out. I never really wanted to get rid of Lidge to begin with and for us to blow it up that big against his new team was exactly what we deserved.

I was watching the Flyers game for most of the night but was able to tune in for the last inning.
