EPSN has very few (if any) actual baseball experts working for them.

Two of the above pics, are from Cottman and Frankford, which is the smaller gathering compared to Broad Street, the pic of a bunch of people that looks like they are standing on a ledge is on Broad. This pic I took @ Broad and Chestnut is like 5% into the crowd that stretched for 20-30 blocks into South Philly.

Madness, but so fun.

It does pretty well most of the time, actually. I don't know if they get their data from Pitch F/X, but I suspect they do.

The Rays are still going to be a good, scary team for a long time; don't be surprised if you see them in the World Series again in the next few years.

He also made Cover athlete for MLB2K9. I am a Giant hater, but he had an awesome season. He deserves it.

Maddon, Piniella win Manager of Year awards - MLB - Yahoo! Sports

I was hoping Manuel would be able to pull it out, but Piniella deserved his third award.

Pedroia wins AL MVP and Pujols wins NL, showing just how consistently stupid voters are. Pedroia's numbers aren't the best but he wins I'm guessing for carrying his team, yet Pujols wins because of his numbers and his team doesn't make the playoffs. Uh What?

Even though his year-end average was so low, I thought Howard's September was going to be enough to win him his second award.

Maybe when arbitration rolls around this off-season, they'll give Howard less money since he isn't a two-time MVP winner.
