Lester has been excellent this season. So excellent that alot of news outlets refer to him as the current Red Sox ace.

In anycase, we have a pretty solid bullpen. They've also been toying with the idea of Delcarmen as an opener.

Fuck, I had to watch the Dodgers Phillies game on mute because some fucking asshole kept doing that wetback whistle and it made me want to punch someone so bad. If I were at the game I would have punched that dude.

It's so annoying that Joe Buck bombards the audience with a player's status in baseball history every single pitch or at bat. Talk about a weird post-season game...

With the way the Red Sox/Devil Rays game is going, I fully expect it to be 9-9 in the 9th inning at 12:00 midnight central time.

Or, if you'd like me to spell it out:

RED Sox, DEVIL Rays, 9-9 in 9.

Inverse the 9's...

RED DEVIL 666!!

Satan has taken control of the MLB. Someone call Steinbrenner; he might be replaced shortly.

EDIT: Also, I really hate the announcers. I realize Jerry Remy and Don Orsillo are Sox fans, but their commentating and antics were a thousand times better than these goons, and were still able to give credit where credit is due.

I wish there wasn't such a lag between digital cable and radio broadcasts; you used to be able to mute the awful tv announcers and put on the radio without spoiling it too much, but now there is such a delay that it's unbearable.
