| Romo is a manwhore | Nice. After hearing how hard the Ravens were going after him I figured he'd take the offer but Jerry is a shrewd negotiator and my guess is that he appealed to Garrett's competative side moreso than his financial whims. "Unfinished Business" comes to mind. |

| Whatever, we all knew before hand that Garrett was Jerry's coach. This just puts the whole thing in motion. I say one more year of Wade followed by Garrett taking the reigns from him. |

| Romo is a manwhore | 1 more year if he doesn't do anything in the playoffs. Personally, I hope the Banks' Theory of Unfinished Business holds true. My only reservation is that after all these good moves by Jerry that he'll fuck it up somehow. First test will be who he attempts to get in Free Agency. |

| I'd hate to be Wade right now. Well, aside from the making 3-4 mil a year to watch football.. but he just knows his days are numbered and the next misstep is likely to be his last.

| Get rid of Roy Williams, Jacque Reeves, Gurode (let Procter start). Keep Newman and Hamlin, but get a new CB and safety, Aquib Talib comes to mind. Julius Jones also wants to be somewhere else, get a young fast RB to compliment Barber. Get a young WR, Glenn and Owens are getting old but they might have a few years left in them. Thats all you gotta do Jerry! Also if you watched the press conference with Garrett today he seems to have alot of respect in Wade. I don't think Wade is the type of guy to be upset about his asst coach getting paid the same as he, too laid back. |

| They can just cut him can't they? it's not like the US Post office. He is a detriment to the team, missed 2 tackles that went for touchdowns against the giants. Not to mention poor play throughout the year.. |

| Teams plan around attacking Roy Williams on defense. He's a big liability on defense. Something will need to be done or we'll get the same results every year in the playoffs. Wade knew when he came to Dallas that Garrett was going to be groomed for head coach I believe, so I don't think Wade would be too upset. Wade is prolly thankful he still has a job and Jerry just didn't give the head coaching job to Garrett outright.

| Romo is a manwhore | From what I'm hearing, Garrett wouldn't have stayed in that environment. And while a pay raise was coming as "part of the process", the same rumbles out of Valley Ranch are saying that he really does feel like he has some things to finish around here. Watching parts of the news conference yesterday told me everything I needed to know about Garrett. The man is smart but he also has a good sense of what is right and what is wrong. Looking forward to what the offense can do in season 2 of his playbook. |
