Owens acknowledged Monday having missed the test several weeks ago, blaming it on a "communication problem involving cell phone numbers."
Quote:
After receiving a letter from the NFL informing him of the action, Owens met with NFL officials on the morning of June 3 because he was in the New York area. Owens has since passed a test for performance enhancers, the sources said. The sources added that Owens has never had a positive test for any illegal substance.
missed a day-of testing call and he gets more tests. not like it matters.

It falls under the illegal substance category so it's pretty much lumped in there.

I can't wait for the round of suspensions to come out before training camp opens. It seems some guys didn't get the message last year after Goodell handed out the ones to Harrison, Henry, Johnson, and Jones (and others I'm sure, those were the big ones). It almost seems like things are worse this year than last.

HGH is hilarious.

One of my buddies used that shit religiously and he said it didn't do shit for him. The stuff is expensive as shit too, such a waste of money.

Hormones effect people differently. You think these people would be spending tons of money and ricking their careers over something that doens't do a thing?

Look at the supplement industry in general. People spend billions of dollars on shit that isn't scientifically proven to help you at all.

The only things that will make you bigger/faster/stronger are steroids.

After checking many sites on HGH and its "OMG FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH EFFECTS" I kinda laugh at it.

This is an excerpt from one site's claim...

Quote:
This is where it gets exciting. While numerous studies have been done on the effects of HGH injections, the most ground breaking study was done by Dr. Rudman and published in the New England Journal of Medicine on July 5, 1990. The journal reported that men who had taken HGH injections had shown a 8.8 percent gain in lean body mass with a 14 percent loss in body fat - without any change in diet or activity! It bears repeating that there was no change in diet or exercise - and the subjects who received HGH injections had a 8.8 percent increase in lean body mass.

If you look at all the studies that have been done on HGH injections you get the following list of benefits:

* 8.8% increase in muscle mass on average after six months, without exercise
* 14.4% loss of fat on average after six months, without dieting
* Higher energy levels
* Enhanced sexual performance
* Regrowth of heart, liver, spleen, kidneys and other organs that shrink with age
* Greater cardiac output
* Superior immune function
* Increased exercise performance
* Better kidney function
* Lowered blood pressure
* Improved cholesterol profile, with higher HDL and lower LDL
* Stronger bones
* Faster wound healing
* Younger, tighter, thicker skin
* Hair regrowth
* Wrinkle removal
* Elimination of cellulite
* Sharper vision
* Mood elevation
* Increased memory retention
* Improved sleep

(* The above is taken from Grow Young with HGH by Dr. Ronald Klatz)
Seriously, 8.8% increase in muscle mass, 14.4% body fat drop without exercise or diet?

L FUCKING O FUCKING L

The Super Bowl rings made by the company were to be given to the Giants staff members to commemorate the team's win over the New England Patriots, team spokesman Pat Hanlon said.

WOOOT!!! I hope none of those Giants get rings. Fuckers ruined the perfect season. FUCK all NY sports.

Uhhh, you *do * know that New York is considered part of New England, right?

*ducks

Seriously though. The Giants won that game fair and square, but outplaying the Pats on the football field.

Let it go.

(Please note that I have no interest whatsoever in any NY team, or the Pats for that matter. But let 'em have their rings, they certainly earned them)
