| Romo is a manwhore | Cowboys sign Barber, Newman through 2014 - NFL - Yahoo! Sports Hell yeah! ----- A big reason that the owners opted out is that the CBA gave the players too much power. It's also the reason Rookies who have yet to take a single NFL snap are getting better deals than Veterans who have proven themselves. It's a smart, business move and something will get done by 2011 because even the Owners know that a lockout would ruin the sport and knock them back 10 years.

+3 Internets | Bengals released Thurman today. Hell of a '05 draft there Bengals. 1 David Pollack LB - Broken neck, retired 2 Odell Thurman LB - Kicked off team 3 Chris Henry WR - Kicked off team 4 Eric Ghiaciuc C - Mediocre starting center 5 Adam Kieft T - Hasn't played a single snap 6 Tab Perry WR - Underwhelming, traded to Miami (I think) 7 Jonathan Fanene DE - Underwhelming 2nd/3rd string d-line. You know how useless you have to be to not break the starting roster for the Bengal's defense? Pretty fucking useless. Sweet. To recap, we netted one starter, a center, who isn't very good, a backup DE, and a tackle who has never played. Nobody else is left. Last edited by Tea on tuesday : 05-20-2008 at 02:57 PM. |

| Didn't Brady take less money so the Pats could spend it on other players? Or am I thinking of someone else? Either way, it probably wasn't enough to justify paying him less than a rookie. NBA-style rookie contracts in the NFL please! |

I take that back. Just took a look at the Lions 2005 draft. Fuck Matt Millen. Shaun Cody taking up a roster spot vs. Lofa Tatupu @ LB. Not even gonna comment on Mike Williams vs. anyone else. Fucking Millen... Last edited by Kez : 05-20-2008 at 08:49 PM. | |

| The whole point of IR is that the person isn't a member of the active team. Practicing with people on IR gives you more personnel than you should have. It's against the rules, plain and simple.

| Who fucking cares? This is the most retarded thing to get angry about. Oh my god! He could give veterans less reps in practice! Newsflash, vets know the system, they don't need the extra reps thus they get rep anyways. Seriously. This is more retarded than Indy IV...and Indy IV was so retarded it managed to burn through my drunkness in a mere 40 minutes. |
