| I agree with what you are saying, but Colvin is still hardly the reason you guys lost the Superbowl. Just like your other superbowls, this one came down to the wire except you weren't able to pull an amazing last minute drive to win the game. After three in a row(Philadelphia to a lesser extent), you were bound to not come up with it in the end at some point. Really that is all that happened. While we have had injury problems, I don't look at ours as too much worse than what is the average in the NFL. Honestly, our defense has deteriorated every year since Jack Del Rio left the year before our super bowl run. Our current D coordinator has been awful, somehow making Peppers and our defensive line less effective every year. We've had good corners every year and an extremely talented line, but somehow we lack in applying pressure. I blame our coordinator for overthinking we Peppers and dropping him in to coverage too much(which I think has made him less aggresive as a pass rusher). Unfortunately, you are completely accurate with the assessment of how our typical season is, we just start out of the gate way too slow. |

| BUBBLES THE MONKEY!!! | It's injuries. I love Jake Delhomme. He's a poor man's Brett Favre. He's a gunslinger extraordinare. Yeah he's probably not on the short list of guys you'd want on the field in a do or die situation, but with him and Steve Smith both healthy, no lead under 4 TDs is safe. I think you guys will be fine. If you can rebuild your d-line and keep Delhomme/Smith healthy, you should win a Super Bowl. You're assessment of Colvin is pretty spot on. I've watched him a lot more than most so I actually know how vital his contribution is. I will say that after he got hurt was right around the time that we stopped dominating on defense. If we can replace Colvin with a dominant pass rushing OLB, I will have no fears about the defense. Also, I fucking love Soccer. Arsenal FC! We're by far the greatest team..the world has ever seen! Watching Chelsea/Barnsley before I go pick up smash brothers. |

| Alexander out of Seattle? Looks true. A running back who loses the only thing he ever had, breaking tackles, is worthless. Julius Jones is apparently signed. Not my first choice. I'd like them to have traded up and get McFadden. Now hopefully they get something for Shaun, like maybe some linemen who can stop the run. Ah shit I'm late to the party as always. Already posted. |

| I'm still chuckling over David Carr to the Giants. Some FA views of mine for the NFC East. Giants: There isn't really anything available in the market which is why we're quietly signing special team players and depth. (Clark, Carr and Knight) In the draft the Giants need to pick up a S, CB, LB and WR, favoring S and LB. I like our team and look forward to a productive season (homer talk with that!) Dallas: Very old at WR. Definitely need to pick up another one somewhere. TO is old (or getting there), Crayton isn't a #2, Glenn is done right? You guys needs some youth right there. You need some DBs. Safties and Corners. I'm still not a Henry fan, though he is a decent player. He didn't get picked on a lot because everyone was busy picking on Roy Williams! Anyway you guys could use some talent in the secondary, but you're pretty solid upfront. One thing I don't know is how old is your Oline? I'm not sure how your depth is, perhaps a OL in the draft in the late rounds. I see draft positions of need: RB, WR, S, CB not in any particular order, though this is a deep draft in CBs and RBs. Eagles: Not much to say, but you need a fucking WR that doesn't suck. McNabb is still a good quarterback with a damn good RB in Westbrook. You guys need a #2 RB to pound it out. You franchised your TE (I'm not sure he's worth that money) so he'll be a weapon next year who you were missing most of 2007. Your Dline needs some speed on the edges, but your tackles are decent. Your linebackers are young, and you should try to grab some bodies to find yourself some depth and competition in camp. Your corners are good, though I'm not sure how Samuel will do in your scheme. It's a trend where NE players going elsewhere don't succeed. Samuel will be playing more press/fire zone in the Eagles scheme where he played more zone in NE. In the draft look for DE, WR, RB(late), OL (late) and perhaps a LB. You don't have any glaring weaknesses but you should be looking to upgrade talent in all positions. Best pick available every time. Redskins: Your team is a mess! You started the offseason with 22 million over the cap, saving yourself some room by restructuring Cooley to save 11 million was good. I believe your still over the cap now. However things you should be concerned about. Jason Cambell will learn his 7th new offensive scheme since his freshmen year in college. How is his knee? Will he be fully healed in camp? Should be, but you never know. Portis is good, but your oline is not in good shape and you definitely need depth there. Cooley is a beast so you have weapons on offense. You need a few good tall physically receivers. You released Lloyd and you're left with two smurfs in Moss and Randle Ell. On defense hope that Springs still has it and your linebackers and dline can stay healthy. I like McIntosh's potential. You guys need depth in your front seven and maybe a few speed rushers or a nice 2gap DT. I'd like to see you draft a saftey as well, though they arn't that many high rated ones in the draft this year. In the draft look for S, LB, CB, OL. P.S. Favre is a first ballot HOFer. He deserves all the accolades and awards given to him. He is one of the best football players, let a lone QBs in the history of the game. Anyone else saying otherwise is a fag. Oh yea, I hope this is readable. |

| Romo is a manwhore | Dallas took a hit in our secondary. Reeves left, David left, Jones will leave next. All backups, so they can be replaced easier than T-new and Henry, but still a loss. They've got a prospect on the roster already, Alan Bell, 7th rounder from last year and 3 of 4 they've called in for interviews/physicals have been corners, so they know what they're focus is going to be. I'm hoping they trade up to get Rodgers-Cromartie. He's looking like a solid choice at CB and will do well to fit in at Nickle Corner and eventually take Henry's spot. |

| T-New sounds like some lame rapper wannabe name. You know, that guy with a single drum machine who lays down a preinstalled beat and raps about his '91 Cadillac with spinners.

| Romo is a manwhore | Dante Hall to the Raiders for $70m over 7 years. Hall is locker room poison. I can't see how this helps the Raiders get a winning record. Also, some people are speculating that Parcells might make the call to skip picking with the #1 pick so the franchise can avoid paying out $35m in guarantees to anyone one of a number of guys who have never played an NFL game in their life. And Parcells has that option, of simply letting the clock run out. It's an interesting topic at the least. |

+20 Internets | Anything is better than skipping the pick, especially when teams like the Falcons are in desperate need of a franchise QB. Somebody wants that pick, it may not be Parcells, but taking two 2nd round picks for it is considered low value but still better than 'nothing'. I'm pissed the Texans won't spend real money in Free Agency. Hall and Faneca were both HUGE needs for us and available, Hall at more than a fair price to me (only a 2nd rd pick for the 2nd best CB in the league?). Weakest part of the team right now is the secondary, followed by RB, OLB and OL. We sign Chris Brown who at his peak barely hit 1100 yards and has always been injury prone. I don't get these motherfuckers, just draft a motherfucking RB in the 1st round, it's the safest pick in the draft year in and year out. |

+20 Internets | They have no QB, I don't know how they can't at least consider Ryan which is unfortunate; I think he's the next Alex Smith (didn't he [Ryan] almost throw 20 ints in college though lol, can't imagine that in the pros). I would take Long probably then the Delaware Kid in the 2nd round or maybe take a chance on Andre Woodson in the 3rd. No way am I giving Ryan 40m guaranteed |
