| BUBBLES THE MONKEY!!! | God you're such a faggot. Rather than saying "lol" to something that is clearly a gaping issue for an old defense (in a league where youth is encouraged but impossible to maintain due to young shithead ghetto fucking gangbangers who demand money over all else), why don't you put up an argument? Oh wait. You don't have one because you're a homo. Here I'll do it for you,. "Blah blah Boston fans I take it up the ass blah blah" (Regime) There ya go. Done. |

| lol like 5 months till preseason and you guys are fighting about offseason stuff and the NFL draft hasn't even happened yet. Wait and see there is tons of time still left in the offseason and anything can happen. It's sad that Farve retired but I didn't really see them as a threat for the SB. Next year will be a sick year I in the NFL with a bunch of powerhouse teams in both the AFC and NFC (Usually it is just the AFC in this decade). The Colts and Pats should be beasts in the AFC. But unlike the start last year where nobody thought the NFC had a chance in hell the Giants and the Cowboys will be huge favorites to get to the superbowl and even win. But there are tons of questions that we have to wait and see about, like: Will Marvin Harrison be healthy and back? If so that could be HUGE for the Colts and they could dominate and possibly go for a 19-0 season. How good will the Colts D be and will rumors of Dungy leaving after this year hurt/help them. Which Giants team will we see next season? Will they continue to play with greatness and determination or will they be like the Ravens and win 1 superbowl then suck again? Will the Pats dominate again on offense like the 1st half of the season or will they play like the 2nd half of the season team and will the SB loss crush them and they will finish 8-8? Is Romo going to have another sick year in the regular season and then suck ass in the post season and will he continue to be a "moviestar" QB? And what rookies are going to tear up the league like Adrian Peterson? So many questions but we will have to wait 5+ months and see. I guess for now you guys can fight about it and call each other names. Have fun. For now I'll enjoy March madness.

I got on edge because I'm sick of fucking retards on this board not bringing a legitimate argument to topics and just using the same rehashed and retarded jealous statements. It's no lie that most diehard sports fans would sell their souls to have the kind of success we've had this decade. Anyone who tells you otherwise is absolutely lying to you. Plus hey, I was really fucking smash hammered when I wrote that. I apologize to you as I flew off the handle. I think the Pats have huge holes on defense. We just signed Tank johnson which I actually like. We need someone to step in there when Wilfork isn't in. Richard Seymour isn't the elite pass rusher he once was after so many injuries, but Wilfork commands a double team and when he's not in, that makes it easier on offensive lines. If we can get this kid Gholen or whatever his name is (I've heard he's a lot like Adalius Thomas in that he's a DE who can definitely play outside, which allows Vrabel to play inside where he belongs), I love our chances of getting back barring any horrible injuries. A great front 7 can eliminate most holes that a secondary has. Just look at the Giants. By all accounts, and we did it once, their DBs were completely pants'ed by our WRs. This doesn't mean jack shit when your offensive line can't block a great front 7 blitz package. We didn't have a bad secondary by any account. I think our secondary was definitely above average (1 elite corner and one very good corner in Hobbs). We also had 1 great physical safety in Rodney and Sanders wasn't half bad either. This doesn't mean anything if you can't get a pass rush though. Eventually guys are going to get open. I'm totally rambling, but I'm pretty sure I'm making sense. We need to get younger on the front 7 and we need a solid pass rush. If we do that, we'll back to a super bowl and win it barring injuries. Rosie Colvin's injury was the moment that killed our season. Our defense became extremely ordinary when this happened (it's also when teams started scoring on us).

+2 Internets | My bears picked up brandon lloyd, if he can play like he did with the niners I will be happy. Saw some good sparks of speed and athletic ability there but no so much on the skins. Seattle must be close to cutting alexander or trading morris I am guessing with that RB pickup. |

| Ak, if your attitude is 'Fuck Football' what the fuck are you still in this thread for? And btw, IRONY MUCH? Like someone said earlier, Brady got his drama shit on with clinging on Moss4lyfe. Brett Favre made some bad decisions sure, but you seriously have a stick that FAR up your ass you complain about how much people like him? Get over it, go watch your baseball k? |

| BUBBLES THE MONKEY!!! | Don't ever bring up fanhood again. It's stupid. Also, there's no harm in discussing a sport in which you still have knowledge in, regardless or not on whether you have a vested interest in it. It's baseball season now, I'm pretty much done talking football. I'll see how much I care once Basketball season and Baseball season are over. |

| I havent read this whole thread, but good lord do i hate new england fans. Am I jealous? Yes. Am I pissed because they beat my team in the superbowl? Yes. But still, they can all go fuck themselves, I'm so sick of hearing about them I actually cheer for the yankees now in baseball (which outside of the world series is fucking terrible). I find it funny how you make excuses of why your team went down, like an injury to a LB who racked up a whopping 28 tackles in 11 games. OH NOES!! Your team was still amazing, they just got outplayed and lost their last game. They will still be heavy favorites next season. If you want to talk about injuries, how about losing your star WR and LB for an entire season. Or your star DT, OL and LB for a season. Or maybe even your precious QB plus a slew of others. This has happened to the Panthers since we lost to you guys in the superbowl, and the one season we didnt have major injuries we went to the NFC championship, but I'm not complaining about this. Injuries are common in the NFL and the patriots have been insanely lucky when it comes to injuries the past few years. So I don't want to hear you bitching about it. Anyways, the always overlooked (the way I like them) have a great chance to rise up in the NFC this season. We've had a relatively quiet offseason so far, but have picked up some good pieces like Muhsin Muhammed (I have known for years that his hands arent that great and hes not fast, but he will definitely help in run blocking and teaching our younger receivers) and LB Landon Johnson from Cincinatti who led their team in tackles the last 2 years. Our LB's will be extremely solid for the first time since we let Will Witherspoon go, especially since injury prone Dan Morgan is gone now too (even though he is a BEAST when healthy, 25 tackles in the SB for example). If we can pick up a good OL in the draft and we stay healthy, we will have a really good chance of winning the NFC South. |

Also, you should know better than to point out stats when talking about NE. Colvin added pressure that NO ONE of our OLB back ups could give. For this reason we had to move Mike Vrabel outside, which allows teams to run on us better and move the chains. Vrabel also isn't a great pass rusher like Colvin so even though he's there, you don't really give him the respect and the coverage you'd give someone like Colvin. I mean, yeah, you can be pissed that you lost, but you should also be stoked that your team was involved in what should go down as the most exciting Super Bowl in the era of the modern game. I still say there was something up with that field since every DB on it was treating it like a fucking slip and slide in the 2nd half, but it was still such a back and forth game. That NE team was easily the best team we fielded out of all our Super Bowl teams so there really is no shame in losing to that team. The Panthers definitely have the worst injury luck of anytime in the past 10 years though. The problem with you guys is that it hits you hard and early. By the time you catch up, you're already 4-8 and out of the playoff race. It sucks, but it's true.
