This was just one investigation, amirite? There could be hundreds of doped up athletes, just wait and see. | |

| I am not sure why we are penalizing Bonds, when it is clear that there are a ton of other players using it. Sure you can bring up the perjury bla bla bla, but in essence, they all broke the law. Why aren't they going after them too? Or is it just because Bond is black or not likeable that they are trying to crucify him? |

| Seriously though, I don't see any white athletes being brought up on federal charges. Sure Michael Vick is a bad example, but what about Barry Bonds or Marion Jones (the black female Olympian)? Here you have a list of 80 names that all alledgedly broke the law, but none of those guys (excluding Bonds) is under federal charges. |

+1 Internets | You know Palmerio also said before congress that he didn't take steriods and he isn't up on charges I don't think. That pretty much sinks your theory that whitey is out to get the other minorities.

+4 Internets | This wasn't a federal investigation. It wasn't even a criminal investigation. It was an investigation on the use of steroids and other illegal substances in baseball. (I do realize that using illegal substances is a crime, but it wasn't the point of this investigation.) I'm pretty sure most of it would be considered hearsay in a criminal court anyway.

| I love how Selig talks about HGH and it being undetectable like takiing HGH alone will do anything serious for a ball player. HGH is used in the fitness world for fat loss. Thats it. It's other effects aren't prominent unless combines with aas, or aas + insulin. HGH as a standalone is nothing serious. |

| Mitchell went over this. No one has been criminally charged for using steroids. In the past couple of years 250 people have been suspended from minor or major league baseball for violating the substance abuse policy. Zero have faced criminal charges. They don't care about the users, they care about the makers and sellers. Bonds is not being charged with using drugs, he is being charged with lying about the use of them.

| BUBBLES THE MONKEY!!! | Congress is just pissed that he went up there, blatantly lied in their faces so they're going after him hard. Someone needs to whip up a Clemens cheater.gif so I can throw it on YTMND. Also, Clemens claims he's innocent despite the fact that they seem to have insurmountable evidence and testimony against him. Tremendous. |
